The Sailors tried everything to save Jonah’s life. The only thing they had left to save themselves was to throw him overboard at his request. Chapter 2:12,13.
At Jonah’ request, The Marinas threw him overboard.
They knew he was a Prophet of Jehovah as Jonah had told them that he was fleeing from the “Presence of Jehovah” and the only way to save their lives was to plunge him into the foaming fury beneath.
We are not surprised to read in verse 16 that when they did, the sea became immediately calm as the storm had ceased.
When God Almighty speaks, all nature comes to attention!!
Think about the Lord Jesus in the New Testament, who was in a much smaller boat with His Disciples, sound asleep. A colossal storm beat upon them.
Jesus, still sleeping, the panic-stricken disciples woke Him, saying…
“DON’T YOU CARE THAT WE PERISH?”
Jesus spoke to the storm, saying,
“BE MUZZLED.”
The storm ceased, and immediately there was a great calm!
Jesus calmed a huge, dangerous storm.
Storms will come into your life, causing you great fear and giving you reasons to panic, to lose faith, and to blame God!
Today, He has given you the power and the authority to speak to that thing in the NAME📛📛 OF JESUS. Demons or men or whatever it may be.
Amen?
“BE MUZZLED.”
“PEACE BE STILL!”
Prophesy to that thing in the name of Jesus. Prophesy good, not evil, over yourself. That’s why Jesus said, “Bless and do not Curse!” You have Resurrection power in your life, and it works. There is also power in giving thanks.
“IN EVERYTHING, GIVE THANKS FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRISTJESUS CONCERNING YOU.”
Your storm may be a person.
It may be a sickness.
It may be a financial loss.
It could be the clouds of fear and doubt that rain down depression upon your life.
Don’t be afraid; the blood of Jesus is your ☂️ umbrella of protection.
Whatever storm that oppresses you. The sunshine of God’s love will soon shine down upon you, and the warmth of his healing will flow into your soul.
May the Sunshine of God’s 💕 love. Shine upon you.
🙏“THE PEACE OF GOD WILL KEEP YOUR HEART AND MIND IN CHRIST JESUS.”
GOD LOVES YOU!
Thank you again for your prayerful support.

First let’s look at a summary of his story in each chapter.
Chapter one, Jonah and the storm!
Chapter two, Jonah and the fish!
Chapter three, Jonah and the city!
Chapter four, Jonah and the Lord!
In these four chapters we have Jonah’s,
1.Disobedience.
2. Preservation.
3.Proclamation.
4.Correction.
Now why did he flee from God’s instructions? We need to understand his character.
This is one view”
He was a solidly good person and open to conviction. But habitually angry and hot-tempered and morose (sullen) and apt to view things in negative and most gloomy aspects.”
Isn’t it easy to sum people up to our idea of them, then spread our opinions to others.
This is “not” a true picture of Jonah. Because he did not display any fear on the boat. He was fearless of death urging the Sailors to throw him overboard.
Nor was it anti-Gentile prejudice. He actually shows compassion toward the idol worshipping Gentile sailors, willing to even die for their safety.
Jonah was thrown into the huge waves of the consuming sea.
He was not only willing to sacrifice his reputation but his life for the distressed mariners.
What then was the real reason as to why he fled instead of delivering his message to Nineveh? The answer is found in his own words. He says to God.
“Therefore l fled to Nineveh, because I knew that You are a,
“GRACIOUS GOD, SLOW TO GET ANGRY AND SO VERY KIND THAT YOU CHANGED YOUR MIND CONCERNING NINEVAH”
Nothing could be more franker, Jonah did not want God to spare Ninevah at all! Why? He knew that Assyria would as a rising power that would destroy Israel.
Assyrians were a brutal race of people.
The Assyrians were a brutal enemy and hideously cruel to those they destroyed. There was no pity and they used severe punishments and cruel torture to cause horror and death. These awful ways of killing people l will not describe as it is too dreadful a picture to leave in your mind.
Jonah was aware of the Assyrians and how brutal they were. Read, if you will, Nahum chapter three verses 1:4-19 to give you some idea of how Jonah felt about the Babylonians.
When he did try to escape God’s presence, he really should have thought, “l really cannot go where God is not!” He is Omnipresent. ( Everywhere at the same time.) Nahum felt as Jonah did about them.
Other Prophets such as Isaiah, Hosea and Amos tell of the Judgement of God upon Israel and the surrounding Nations.
Jonah knew if Nineveh cried out to God at the eleventh hour, they would be spared and he did not want this to happen.
He risked everything so that Nineveh would be destroyed. (and Israel saved.)
This being true we put Jonah up where he belongs.
He belongs with Moses who prayed,
“If You will forgive their sins, if not blot me out of your book.”
With Paul who said,
“l wish that l were accursed from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh.”
Then our lovely Lord Jesus, who cried from the cross,
“FATHER FORGIVE THEM, FOR THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT THE ARE DOING.”
With all this, it does not justify his disobedience! How could he have thought that one man’s actions could change the purposes of God for nations!
Remember the old song we used to sing…
“TRUST AND OBEY THERE IS “NO OTHER WAY!”
You must focus upon the Lord Jesus, fix your heart ❤️ upon Him.
DIVINE, COMPASSIONATE HEART OF GOD.
Remember our study on Psalm 139. God is all knowing and you can’t hide from HIm!
No-one can escape His presence.
This is a valuable reminder when praying for a lost loved one. We need to remember that we are true messengers of the Grace of the Gospel of Jesus.
We are all called to be ambassadors to the sinning, struggling, sorrowing men and women, who need need His Grace for Deliverence, Salvation and Healing.
Dear Christian, it is our ‘call and responsibilitiy’ to share the Gospel of Christ to those whom God sends across your path.
You can’t take anything to Heaven with you when you die only Souls, Souls … and more Souls.
They are your greatest treasure and they are eternal and will not corrupt as your richest treasure on Earth.
Jesus Christ, before He ascended to Heaven, commanded the disciples and us who follow Him to:
“GO ALL OF YOU INTO THE 🌍 World AND PREACH THE GOSPEL, LOOK ‘I AM’ WITH YOU ALWAYS EVEN TO THE END OF THIS AGE!”
HEY FRIENDS NO GO! NO LO!
AMEN.
Jonah preaching God’s final warning to Ninavah.
There is so much we can learn from these great men of God. Like us, they had their doubts and fears, weaknesses and strengths.
With all their struggles, they obeyed God’s Commands. So should we!
Amen.

“BECAUSE THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD… How can I, “LACK ANY GOOD THING.”
At his own request the Prophet Jonah was thrown into the sea.
Or is it a,”Wale of a Tale?”
Was Jonah real person, was he housed in a great fish as the book declares? Did he preach to Nineveh to cause them to repent before Divine Judgement came upon them?
The fact of the book of Jonah comes when we look at the Scriptures as a whole and at the words of our Lord Jesus Himself. Many modern Theologians have discredited this book. They see it as ridiculous!
Jonah himself was a natural person. He is called the son of Amittai. The word of the Lord came to him, indicating that he was a Prophet of God. See 2nd Kings 14:25. Jonah’s ministry was about the time of Joash, the King of Israel (presumably), in the earlier years of Jeroboam 2.
He may have been one of the leaders in the, “School of the Prophets,” where Elijah was nearing the end of his remarkable ministry.
The book is full of supernatural happenings. Apart from the admitted presence of striking miracles, there is nothing to disprove that the book is a narrative of fact. Then, there is a confirmation of Christ’s words about its historicity. Read Matt 12:39,40 — the sign of Jonah.
Then there is the further words from our Lord about Jonah in Matt 12.
“THEY DID NOT REPENT AT THE PREACHING OF JONAH.”
Also a “GREATER ONE THAN JONAH IS HERE.”
Jesus our Lord was “the Truth” and He spoke the truth. He clearly confirmed the historicity of the book of Jonah.
But what of the ‘WALE?’ The truth is that this physical miracle is lovely, but even more astounding is the miracle of repentance of Nineveh. God could have created a specially large fish to swallow Jonah. The Scriptures say He “prepared” a great fish. In Matt 12, it is called a Wale. We need to remember that the New Testament was translated from the Greek: and the word is translated as a, “SEA MONSTER.” Yet there have been proofs of the size of such Wales.
In Birmingham, a carcase of a Wale was displayed by marine experts on a vacant block of ground outside New Street Station.
Quote: “I was one of the men who went inside the mouth, then passed into its throat and moved about in what was equivalent to a fair-sized room. Its throat is large enough to serve as a door. It would have been quite easy for a Wale of that kind to swallow a man” It did happen to Jonah, and the words of Christ confirm it!
There will be more signs and wonders in these last days at the soon return of Christ. We pray that many shall call upon the Name of the Lord and be saved.
Will you need to go through such trauma as Jonah before you will call upon the Lord?
Are you ready to meet Jesus when He comes in person in His Glory and splendor? First you must come to Him in Spirit and Truth by becoming born again. Jesus said,
“You must be born again or you will not even ‘see’ the Kingdom of Heaven.”
“Well, why not?” You may ask.
Because your sin is stopping you from entering the Kingdom of Heaven. You may have a perfect character in your own eyes. Yet you were born naturally with a sinful nature, you never have to teach your youngster how to utter his first lie. One lie makes you a liar. One act of stealing makes you a thief. David said in the Psalms.
“In sin my mother conceived me.” Conception is not a sin, it’s the sin nature that has been passed on from the parents to the child whom they conceive.
“FOR ALL HAVE SINNED ” SO YOU AND I ARE SINNERS AND WE NEED A SAVIOUR. PRAISE GOD! HE MADE A WAY! HE BECAME FLESH.
GOD IN JESUS CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS OR YOUORCROSS CTROSS
TO SAVE EACH ONE OF US, AND THAT INCLUDES YOU! Conception was not a sin, because when Adam & Eve rebelled against GOD and blatantly disobeyed His command, they became sinners by ‘nature’ and that sinful nature passed onto Cain, who, out of envy, committed the first murder by slaying his brother Abel.
So as it says in the New Testament. That sin passed upon all men.
Jesus took your and my sin on his body on the cross of Calvary.
(The cruelest death known to man.)
Oh, thank you dear Jesus.
SHED HIS PURE PRECIOUSBLOOD. (To wash away our guilt, shame, our failures, mistakes, rebellion and pride and many sins under our belt.
When we admit we have sinned and we put our whole lives into His loving care and protection, take up our cross and follow Him.
A PRAYER OF SALVATION.
MY LORD and SAVIOUR Jesus Christ. I Know I am a sinner, please forgive me. No one else is the problem, it’s my heart ❤️ and l need to be saved.
Come into my life. Save, Keep, guide me by the Holy Spirit to follow you. Thank you for dying for me and shedding your precious blood so I can be free.

Both in style and subject, the book of Joel is very arresting. The picturesque writings of a plague-stricken land, the locust army, and the final gathering of all nations into the valley of judgement are masterpieces of graphic literature. You can easily imagine the writings.
Joel, whose name means.
“JEHOVAH IS GOD.”
He certainly exercised a Prophetic ministry near Jerusalem. He promises that both Judah and Israel will dwell forever. He pictures a plague-stricken land, the invading locust army, and the final gathering of all nations in the valley of judgment are very graphically portrayed.
Demons from hell.
He is warning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, yet he sees beyond this devastation to a time when Jerusalem and Judah will live forever — chapter 3:1. The whole book is about THE COMING OF JEHOVAH ( JESUS). So we hear An ALARM! – the invasion by plague. Chapter 1: 2-11.
Then an APPEAL! An eleventh-hour hope. Chapter 2: 12- 27.
An ANNEX! In the after days, chapter 2:28- 3:21. There is a focus on the end time and the ultimate glory of Zion.
THE LOCUSTS. The young locusts are the size of the common grasshopper and proceed in the same direction, first crawling, then at a later period, leaping as they go, devouring every green thing in their path. They advance more slowly than a devouring 🔥 fire. They consume fields of wheat and barley, yards, mulberry orchards, and groves of olive, fig, and other trees and, in a few hours, are stripped of everything green, blade and 🍃 leafy. Once a bountiful, beautiful leafy green stands in a ghost-like manner, deprived of life.
ANALYSIS AND CONTENT. First, let’s read the first chapter. Here, we read about the land’s desolation, followed by the ravages of the locusts. THE PROMISE. God Himself faithfully says:
Devastation
The wonderful promise of God.
“I WILL RESTORE UNTO YOU THE YEARS THE LOCUST HAS EATEN, THE CANKEEWORM AND THE CATERPILLAR AND THE PALMERWORM (My great army) which I sent among you.”
You, dear reader, may have been stripped of your reputation, dignity, marriage, and finances. Your dreams, goals, and calling to preach or hold a position in your church because you do not measure up to set standards or expectations of your leadership. Though hurt and rejected, Jesus will use you even though you feel cast aside. He said,
“GREATER THINGS SHALL YOU DO BECAUSE I GOUNTO THE FATHER. WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME, HE WILL DO IT!”
So don’t allow the locusts of men’s opinions to stop you from fulfilling the dreams and visions that:
‘GOD HAS PLACED IN YOUR HEART.’ SURELY HE WILL GIVE YOU YOUR 💕 HEART’S DESIRES.
Read PSL 37 1-6
And that means all things according to what is His best for you.
NEVER EVER GIVE UP! THERE IS AN EXPECTED END.
Amen.

The passage appears to be a dialogue involving a person named Hosea, who is considering marrying a prostitute as per God’s instructions.
It also discusses the potential conflict with the concept of an unequal yoke as it pertains to marrying a non-Christian.
In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul is emphatic about “not” marrying someone with different standards, citing potential consequences, including conflict, misunderstandings, arguments, and selfishness, that could lead to the breakdown of the marriage.
The passage questions the idea of whether it matters who one marries, given that both Christian and non-Christian marriages can end in divorce. It also raises the dilemma of perceived double standards between the Old and New Testaments.
First, God is incapable of mistakes, and He is ‘never wrong.’ He does not judge according to statistics. But according to His Divine will for the individual couple.
God’s decision is based on His Divine wisdom and righteousness, and it is for our own good.
Gomer.
GOMER THE HARLOT, who represents the nation of Israel, is already committing Adultery and is away from the Lord. HOSEA describes the Spirit of the Lord, who woos, loves unconditionally, and forgives—one willing to win Israel back as His own.
The children born to this couple prove the importance of not being unequally joined in marriage.
The first son born to this couple at the command of God was named Jezreel. (God sows it.) meaning…
“He will visit the house of Jehu and will put to an end to the home of Israel.
2nd Kings 10:11.
HOSEA’S name means (Salvation)
Numbers 13:10.
GOMER his wife, proved to be unfaithful,
GOMER IS LOVED BY HOSEA AND CARRIED HOME IN LOVE AND FORGIVENESS.
Hosea knew she would be adulterous. We are reminded that the marriage was arranged to use the prophet as a symbol of Israel, who is unfaithful to the Lord.
You must ask God for wisdom to make the right choice for yourself.
James Chapter 1:5-7.
IF ANY MAN LACKS WISDOM, LET HIM ASK GOD FOR MORE. HE DOES NOT BECOME ANGRY AND TELL YOU OFF. HE GIVES IT FREELY.
THEN YOU WILL KNOW WHICH PATH TO TAKE.
So my friend, you won’t be disappointed, downhearted, discouraged, and depressed. You will enjoy His choice of a spouse.
The world’s way today is:
“TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!”
Living together and using the phrase
“MY PARTNER” is not God’s will. In my experience of counselling, adulterous couples rarely stay together. Unless they repent and give their lives to Jesus in complete surrender and live by the Word of God.
Godly marriages are rare, but beautiful, holy, and eventually become “one” in Christ as He and the Father are One.
Every Blessing.
Amen.
Renewing vows…A God kept marriage.

Knowing that God has called us out of the realms of darkness.( ruled by Satan) into the Marvellous Light of the Kingdom of God, all it’s brilliant and beautiful blessings.
We must show forth His Praises of Him who has called us out of darkness, having brought us into his marvellous light.
Praises are “VIRTUES” or His, “EXCELLENCES”
From Darkness into Light.
In the Old Testament interpretation, we must show the “Beauties of Holiness” in our Character and Conduct. We are to do this despite our personalities or dispositions, and if we do, people will notice that by our behaviour, we are different! They will conclude that:
A Charismatic Cutie!
WE HAVE BEEN WITH JESUS”‘ Showing forth’ is challenging. What we preach must be shown forth by our life, respond and react to those who have not yet in His Light. Or the world will quickly point their finger and say, “They don’t practice what they preach!” Yet there is some comfort in the word ‘SHOW’ Not all of us can be pastors, leaders, Preachers, etc. Yet we can ‘show’ forth His virtues privately, which also counts with God.
It is not our ‘Position’ that is acceptable to God. It is our”Disposition” that is important in His Sight.
When someone is hungry for Christian truth, and they come across someone who lives a virtuous life, they will want that same truth that can also set them free. So allow your life to show forth His Praises.
Love one another, with a pure heart fervently.
You may ask, How? By pleasantness, your smile, the tone in your voice. How genuine you are as a person. The way you look and dress. You do not always have to preach Bible verses to people to bring conviction that leads to Salvation. It is the goodness of God that brings men to repentance.
God instructs us to encourage one another. To love our enemies, to forgive one another. Jesus said,
“BY THIS SHALL ALL MEN KNOW THAT YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES. IF YOU HAVE LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER.
Of course, we must testify how we met Jesus and how He is changing our lives. Then, share our answers to prayer and how He moves for our good. That gives such the opportunity to share the Gospel. This is of course where you would use scripture to make the Gospel known.
Many people in this world are Looking for genuine people whom they can trust so that they can open their hearts to them.
People in all stations of life, rich or poor, sick or well.Business owners or the unemployed.
People need the Lord, and we must always be ready to answer the hope we have within us.
That is why we need to be an example of a faithful Christian.
Amen.

If the Lord speaks to you regarding financial support of this ministry you will be incredibly blessed.
You can call me on:
“If God so feeds the birds, shall He not much more feed you?:
First, we will examine the Hebrew meaning, followed by the Babylonian names used during captivity. This shows how important it is to name your child with a meaningful name.
First. DANIEL (Hebrew): “GOD HAS JUDGED.”
Second. HANANIAH (Hebrew) “THE LORD HAS BEEN GRACIOUS.”
Third. MISHAEL (Hebrew) “WHO GOD IS.”
Changing their names displayed Babylonian Lordship over them and adherence to the Babylonian gods they worshipped.
DANIEL. He was renamed BELTESHAZZER. Babylonian for,
“OH LADY PROTECT THE KING.” Being the idol wife of MARDUK. The god of Babylon.
Chapter 4:8. SHADRACH. Meaning. “l AM VERY FEARFUL.”
MESHACH. Meaning. “I AM OF NO ACCOUNT.”
ABEDNEGO. Meaning. “SERVANT OF THE SHINING ONE.” (KING)
Imagine what effect these names would have on your self-concept!
These were awful names! Names from hell. These courageous, godly men chose to live by the meaning of their proper names.
Their real names were a reality of who God was in their lives. They refused to give worship to any other god than the:
“TRUE AND LIVING GOD WHO RULES OVER HEAVEN AND EARTH!”
The three young men faced the threat of death in the finery Furnace. (but Jesus was with them)
SOME THROUGH THE FIRE, SOME THROUGH THE FLOOD SOME THROUGH GREAT SORROW… BUT ALL THROUGH THE BLOOD.
And Daniel was cast into the lions’ den (God delivered him also).
We are the “Righteousness of God in Christ so be BOLD! AND SHARE THE GOSPEL.
If you are faithful and loyal to God, He protects you from danger and calamity.
There were other men and women in the Bible whose names were changed by God for particular reasons of Prophesy and to fulfil God’s purposes on this earth.
Abraham and Sarah’s names had been changed from Abram and Sarai!
Jacob’s changed to Israel!
Saul changed to Paul!
In the new Kingdom of Heaven, God will change your name into a New Name known only to Him.
I CAN’T WAIT!!
You mean ‘so much’ to Him; His Mighty Hand was upon these faithful men. His Good Hand is upon you as it was upon Ezra and Nehemiah through many testing circumstances.
He will deliver you through your 🔥 fiery trials.
The Lord said to tell you that He is the God of all comfort. REACH YOUR HANDS TOWARD HIM AND RECEIVE HIS COMFORT. Now wait until He manifests his peace and anointing upon you.
The great Creator made YOU! He dearly loves you to worship Him.
Amen.

Praise God; now go and share your newfound faith with someone.
The story of Daniel began with him being in Babylon as a youth and working in the Palace of King Nebuchadnezzar.
Daniel and his friends excelled in their training and were chosen out of all the captives to serve the King personally.
Daniel was gifted with the ability to interpret dreams. He remained in Babylon for a long time and died at a great age.
Throughout his life, he remained faithful to God and never compromised his faith. Daniel was a man of great character and is one of the few men of whom God only speaks well.
His story emphasises that the Lord rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whoever He chooses.
The image of the Kingdoms yet to come.
We can learn from Daniel to have steadfast perseverance and faithfulness to God if we confess our sins and submit to God’s will, and then we can bring glory and honour to His Name.
Daniel had a lot of character qualities that are worth emulating as Christians ✝️ especially in a time of chaos and confusion that surrounds us. Our world has increased in violence, selfishness and the lust for money. People are hungering for prosperity and prestige.
Honesty and truth have become subjective. Two opinions can be acceptable as truth, yet one is full of lies and deceit. Who can you trust? Many Christians lie and mishandle the truth through clever misuse of Scripture.
Keep an eye open, and spot false prophets and teachers who twist the Word of God for their gain. Please read your Bible constantly and ask the Holy Spirit to speak truth into your Spiritual life through God’s Word.
Daniel never compromised or complained as an enslaved person under a heathen regime.
He never protested against the authority placed over him. He steadfastly and confidently obeyed the law of his God. He took every challenge to the Lord in prayer and worship in front of the public eye. He trusted in the Lord his God, and the Lord delivered him from deathbed punishment. The lions den!
Daniel believed in the Word of God.JESUS LOVES CATS 🐈! ” Me too.”Oh, to be patted by Christ”
The Lord delivered Daniel from those ferocious lions, and they were like pussy-cats purring around Daniel.
God allowed Daniel to face many challenges to refine his already uncompromising character.
He was a man of constant integrity under the different Kings he served.
He lived as a man of temperance and self control.
He maintained a life of humility, respect, and self-control. Let me ask: Are you allowing the Lord to refine you in your time of temptation and testing?
Daniel was a man with outstanding character. He was radiant with the Spirit of the Living God.
You must read 📚
Daniel 8:23-26. 11:36-45. Now compare it with the book of Revelation. 13:1-10.
Here are more Godly character traits. Daniel 5:10-12.
If you can, take the time to read about his great Spiritual vision.
Daniel 7: 9-12. 10: 2-20. Now read chapters 2,6, 9. Keep this thought in your mind as you read. He was in an environment as a ✡️ Jew to stay and work with Gentiles. He never forgot his Jewish Spiritual heritage.
No wonder that God used him so powerfully among those mighty Kings. Let us carefully follow in his footsteps.
Amen.
The CREATOR is far more powerful than His CREATURES.
Blessings to those who faithfully pray for me and my well-being and the. light-in-the-darkness.net ministry. Extra thanks to those who choose to support me as we dare to share the Living Word across the world 🌎
This river of life is mentioned in other places in the Bible
It flows through its pages, bringing life wherever it goes.
This particular river of life was shown to Ezekiel in a vision from God.
The very source of the water is God Himself. He is the Water of life, as you can reasonably see in the story of:
‘The Woman at the Well’ in the New Testament.
Jesus said it: “l am that living water.” He is the source of all life and blessings.
The first trickle of water came from under the altar, the place of forgiveness from all sin.
“There none righteous, no not one.” We all need to come to the Father through the Son. It is His Blood that cleanses us from all sin. There is no other way.
This river is remarkable.
Ezekiel 47:3.
There was a man with a measuring stick. As Ezekiel watched, he measured off 1,000 cubits, which is in our measurement 500 yards.
He continued to measure as the water grew more profound. It had become ankle-deep.
As they continued to measure further, it became knee-deep. He led Ezekiel to wade in the depths of the waters.
Every other river becomes more robust due to feeder streams, But this river is different because it becomes stronger all by itself. All the water is directly flowing from the Lord.
This river didn’t need streams added to it to grow deeper and deeper.
God’s LIFE-GIVING river does not need anything else added to it from the world to make it grow.
Neither do we need good works of our own to obtain true Salvation and grow in grace.
Now, the water has become knee-deep another 500 yards beyond.
Wade knee deep in the river. From death to life.
Then He measured off another 500 yards, and he led Ezekiel through the waters and it was up to his waist.
Then, another 500 yards further, the waters were more profound and faster. He could only swim. The river was uncrossable unless you were a strong swimmer.
Spiritually, as the river deepens it invites you to grow deeper into God. He has so much to offer.
A GLORIOUS SALVATION.
CLEANSING,
PEACE,
JOY AND LOVE. All wrapped up in a bundle of Grace.
“OUT OF MY DEPTH IN HIS LOVE. ❤️ “
“Rejoice in the Lord.”
Would you take the time to read these Scriptures? I’m sure they will bless you in your wade with God in the river of life. He is out there in the deep, beckoning you to swim into His presence.
Psalm 46.
Isaiah 13: 18-20.
Joel 3:18.
These precious promises bring you life and hope. Father God loves to pour out His blessings upon His beloved ❤️ people.
The way and depth of the River is ever increasing, so you can go deeper and deeper into God. There is so much 😊 JOY in knowing Him as Lord of your life.
Where are you in your walk with Christ?
Some Christians are content just to dip their toes into the water of life.
Some people like to paddle knee-deep, where children play and will not venture further.
Is it fear that holds you back from witnessing Christ?
Claim this promise from God’s Word.
ISAIAH 43:2.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.“
You are safe in God’s Life – Giving River.
IT TAKES FAITH TO STEP INTO THE RIVER.
IT TAKES FOCUS TO KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE HOLY ONE.
Isn’t that what Peter did? He took his eyes off Jesus and began to sink. Yet the Lord Jesus kept him safe.
I AM FEELING YOUR STRONG ARMS AROUND ME.
“Lord, please keep me from being impulsive so I make brave and righteous decisions where I choose to 🏊♂️ swim. I can’t live without YOU!”
If you by faith swim out of your depth where your feet can’t touch the bottom of the River anymore. Now have faith enough to turn over on your back and allow yourself be carried by the current of God’s love.
Surrender yourself completely into His perceived will.
It’s time to get off the dry land. Don’t be content to paddle along the edges. Dive into that healing, refreshing river and start to swim toward Him. He will help you and you’ll not drown.
This Christian song says it all.
“OUT OF MY DEPTH INTO YOUR LOVE, OUT OF MY DEPTH IN YOU.
THINGS I HAVE HELD SO TIGHTLY THAT MADE ME FEEL SECURE.
GIVE ME THE STRENGTH, I SIMPLY NEED TO LET GO.
OUT OF MY DEPTH IN YOUR LOVE ❤️
OUT OF MY DEPTH IN YOU.
Amen.
Thankyou for reading this blog, I pray that you will continue to follow my ministry.

Not only dry bones, but shattered, scattered bones in no order.
Most of us imagine seeing connected skeletons lying around on the valley floor. No, they were disjointed rubbish bleaching in the sun
They will gradually turn to dust.
God led Ezekiel back and forth among them and he saw a great many bones and the bones were very dry.
God asked Ezekiel,
“CAN THESE BONES LIVE AGAIN?”
Ezekiel replied,
“Sovereign Lord, You alone know.” (These bones were completely depleted of calcium and phospherous).
Bones are the last traces of the dead and seem to last forever.
God Commanded Ezekiel to speak to those bones and God would breathe life into them.
He would restore their tendons, flesh and skin, covering them, but there was no breath in them. God then told Ezekiel to call forth the four winds and breathe life into them.
As Ezekiel prophesied, the wind blew the breath of life into them.
The word in Hebrew is translated as ‘ruach’, meaning ‘God’s Spirit’. It is also translated in the Scriptures as wind, breath, and air.
Remember in Genesis, after God finished forming Adam from the dust of the earth, He breathed into his nostrils the,
‘BREATH OF LIFE’,
and Adam became a ‘LIVING SOUL.
Now, as Ezekiel prophesied, the wind blew the breath of life into them, and a vast army stood to their feet.
The Prophet was astounded at the miracle happening before his eyes. The army were dressed and ready for war.
This was a message to Israel. The dry bones represent the exiles whose political and religious conditions at the moment indeed were very dry indicating both a hopeless situation and a irreparable condition. This is well captured by the exile’s expression,
“Our bones are dried up, and our hope is gone.”
We are cut off. Verse 11.
The word (gazar) for cut-off is used here as an expression to indicate the separation, detachment, expulsion, and exclusion of the Israelites from their ancestral land and religion.
As those dry bones Israel was in a state of total deadness. The people were in a hopeless 😔 situation and a irreparable condition.
YET GOD CAN REVIVE !
He can REVIVE those of us who are dead in trespasses and sins.
He revives through His Word and Spirit, just as He did in Ezekiel’s vision.
This promise of restoration tells you that no matter how dire your circumstances, there’s always hope with God. God’s power to revive and restore what is dead or lost.
WHAT DOES THIS VISION MEAN FOR SOME OF US TODAY?
Do you feel like? The Walking Dead?’
You have tried to find happiness in Alcohol,
Drugs, Partying.
Gambling.
Cults. Witchcraft.
Sex, Pornography.
Violence, Theft.
Broken Marriages. Etc?
What a struggle it has been. You chose these addictions, but they chose you, and you struggle to be free.
A CLEANSING FOUNTAIN.
You’ve tried and failed, tried and failed. Sometimes, you congratulate yourself for winning over all the adverse habits only to taste one drink, light up a cigarette, choose a sex partner, and soon you are back in the deep end, nowadays incarcerated and so disappointed with yourself but blaming everyone else.
THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON WHO CAN HELP YOU.
His name is:
JESUS CHRIST.
“He that has the Son has life, but he that does not have the Son has no life at all.“1John5:12.
You can’t pull yourself up by your bootstraps! The moisture you need in those dry spiritual bones is the sweet Holy Spirit of God.
He changes you from within. You were dead in sins, but you come to life in Christ. As you follow Jesus and live a wholly surrendered life, He will change you from within and make you a copy of Himself.
He takes away your hardness and fills you with His sweetness 💕.
He can absorb all that anger and bitterness and replace it with forgiveness and love.
From sorrow and sighing into gladness and 😊 joy.
From sickness into wellness.
If you allow Him, He can change ‘everything’ about you.
YES!! “NOT I! BUT CHRIST WHO DWELLS WITHIN ME”
Hallelujah.
Please take that step of faith you can’t lose!
Amen.
