THE ‘NO MORES’ OF REVELATION.

NEVER AGAIN!

NO MORE SIN! Imagine that!

A few months ago, my precious stepson went to be with the Lord.

He suffered greatly from bone Cancer. As I was preparing this message, I received a phone call about his passing.

What a difference this knowledge made to my sadness. Of course, there were tears of grief as I loved him dearly, but mixed with those tears were tears of joy coupled with peace.  Joy, because his life has really just begun! This, through my tears, gave me the peace that is promised.

“The peace that is beyond our understanding.”

“He shall wipe away all tears from our eyes.”

I grew excited that Johnny is now enjoying all these …

“NO MORES”

Let’s discover them together.

We all see the vast effect that sin is having upon our World today. History has recorded many horrific examples of sins consequences in the lives of people  from Adam to you and I today.

The good news is, that in the New Heaven and Earth there is … NO SIN!

Sin will no longer plague us anymore.

Sin no longer exists. Even the temptation to sin is erradicated.

NO MORE:

Cynicism, Skepticism or False teaching.

Blasphemy, belittling Gods Name or those who are made in His image.

No more addictions, illicit longings, empty promises from politicians, husbands, wives or parents.

Total honesty will come from the mouths of Prophets, Pastors and religious leaders.

No more: Slavery, Human Trafficing.

No senseless acts of violence and abuse of the body and soul.

No more: Theft, cheating, deception and lies.

No more sexual immorality, such as Adultery, Fornication, Homosexuality, Pornography, lust or rape, no inordinate desires of any kind.

No more slander, gossip, criticism, rage or anger. No murder or torture.

No more Jealousy, pride and arrogance.

No need for hospitals, mental institutions, prisons, courthouses and police or guards.

No injustice or racism, no more revolutions or demonstrations.

No gambling or hankering  after luck.  No more scams of any kind.

No more sickness, disease, sorrow or pain. No incurable diseases, addictions of any kind. No more allergies or food intolerance.

No more accidents!

Hallelujah, I am filled with anticipation.

NO MORE BROKENNESS.

No fear, worry or regret, no anxiety or nervous breakdowns.

No loneliness or emptiness or dissatisfaction.

No evil thinking against anyone, no bitterness, unforgiveness or resentment.

No insomnia. No broken dreams or haunting nightmares.  

No disappointments. No wrong expectations, dissatisfaction, or unfulfilled longings from the past or into the future.

NO MORE POVERTY.

The end of debts, famine, lack of any kind. No poverty or unemployment.

NO MORE WAR. Fighting, arguments, insecurity. No more uncertainty, misunderstandings, misconceptions, or lack of communication.

OH THE PURITY AND THE GLORY THAT WILL PERMEATE YOUR VERY BEING.

YOU WILL NEVER SIN OR COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD, AND YOU WON’T EVER WANT TO SIN AGAIN.

All because of God’s immense love for you.

Bow and worship Him now. Give thanks with a grateful heart. He deserves the glory.

He chose us from the foundation of the World to be blameless in His sight. What a wonderful Saviour is Jesus our Lord.

What ever wretched sin you have comitted will be forgiven and forgotten!!

GOD CHOOSES TO FORGET ALL  YOUR SINS AND INIQUTIES.

When you  try to bring them up, He will say,

“WHAT SIN?”

Once you are born again, you are a

“NEW CREATION”

In the process of, being conformed to the image of His Son.

Through His Precious blood you are washed clean from even the taint of sin.

You have been delivered from the powers of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of His marvellous Light.

You are now a

“NEW CREATION IN CHRIST.”                         2 Corinthians 5:17

“THE OLD HAS GONE, AND THE NEW HAS COME!”

You will be a resident in that New Heaven and the New Earth.

Forever! Oh what joy, what peace is yours as you look foward to that great day of His coming.

If you do not know how to become a resident of that unshakeable Kingdom…

Here is how.

Please pray this prayer of Salvation.

“Lord God, I am a sinner. I do believe that Jesus died for me and rose again victorious over sin death and hell.

Please forgive my sin and cleanse me from all unrighteous and save my soul.

I make you my Saviour and Lord.

Empower me through the Holy Spirit to live for you in this difficult World.

I truly look forward to the bright new World and seeing you face-to-face in the Heavenly Kingdom.” I will worship you for all eternity. You are worthy of all praise, glory, and honour.

HIS SOON COMING.

Revelation 22:17

“I AM COMING SOON.”

What is the meaning of the word soon?

In Greek, the word ‘TACHT’ suggests a sudden, unexpected or swift arrival rather than a drawn-out process.

In other words, when it happens it will happen quickly.

Many people wonder why Jesus made this statement 2,000 years ago, and why it has not happened yet.

Because God’s perspective of time differs from human perception.

“As with the Lord, one day is as a thousand years.”

Or, to denote that when the event happens, it will be sudden or rapid. It will be fast, without warning.

It’s imminent; it could happen at any moment in time.

So the message to us individually is, we do not know the day of our death, so we should not delay any longer, but live each day in the light of His soon coming.

HE MAY COME TODAY!

So we must keep preparing for eternity and live each day as it is our last.

It is God’s timetable, not ours. He will fulfil His promises, so we must remain faithful, as the Lord puts it,

” BE FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH, AND I WILL GIVE YOU A CROWN OF LIFE.”

“HE THAT ENDURES TO THE END, WILL BE SAVED.”

HIS REWARD IS WITH HIM.

This indicates. that Jesus Christ will bring rewards with Him when He returns.

Our greatest reward will be: TO DWELL IN HIS PRESENCE!!

WE WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE 

He will give rewards according to our deeds done in the flesh. Romans 2:6 and Revelation 20:12.

God will, in His justice, reward not only the righteous but also punish the wicked.

This does not mean you will lose your Salvation, as your Salvation is by Grace; instead, it highlights the evidence of your works, which reveal your true faith.

No saved person can continue to practice sin deliberately and expect to go to Heaven.

“He who practices sin is the servant of sin.”

“He that covers his sin shall not prosper. He that confesses and forsakes it shall find Mercy.”

Notice that those who are outside the city are the adulterers and sexual immoral people. Those who practice witchcraft, murderers and those who practice telling lies.

These people are not sitting at the gates hoping to enter the city, they are in fact in Hell ‘outside’ the city receiving their wages of sin, which is eternal punishment of death. They are those who have rejected the Gospel.

They are called ‘dogs’ Those who are the unbelievers who have dog- like behaviour.

See 1Corinthians 6:9-11

WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD.

He will give to each person what we deserve according to our deeds done in the flesh. Romans 2:6 and…

Revelation 20:12.

Some rewards are incredible crowns.

God in His justice will reward the righteous and punish the wicked.

This does not negate  (nullify) our salvation making it ineffective. Because our salvation is by ‘Grace’.

Instead, it highlights the evidence of our works, which reveal our true identity.

Your deeds matter to God, be they small or great; your motives and actions will be evaluated by Christ Himself.

“Even a cup of ‘ice water’ given in His name” will be rewarded.

Matthew 10:42

He notices, faithfulness during the hard times of your life.

He, with all Heaven, rejoices when you lead a soul to experience saving faith.

Soul winners will. Shine as the stars forever and ever.

Read, Daniel 12:2,3.

What an amazing reward! The radiance of His Glory!

God is ever watching you every moment of everyday. He is beside you, encouraging you to persevere, strengthening and empowering you.

He is not looking for your faults or failings ready to condemn you. 

He  patiently and lovingly urges you on to live out your destiny upon this earth and fulfil His plans for your life.

He can’t wait for the time to hand you your eternal rewards, where He will, in front of all mankind, say…

“WELL DONE, MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.”

SATAN’S FINAL DOOM AND GLOOM.

In the book of Revelation we are relieved to read about the demise of Satan with all his powers of darkness.

There is a time coming where he can no longer cause havoc on this Earth.

SATAN’S ORIGON.       

Satan originated as a high-ranking angel, often identified as Lucifer, created good by God but fell from Grace due to pride, desiring to be equel with God.

He rebelled against the Most High God and as a result the Scriptures tell us that he was thrown down and cast out of Heaven, taking a third of angelic beings with him, becoming, the ‘PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR.’

His name Lucifer means, ‘Bearer of Light.’

He is described as a Perfect Anointed Cherub who became corrupt, who purposely led other angels into rebellion, becoming the ultimate adversary of God and humanity, a figure of evil and temptation.

THE EARLY HEBREW BIBLE:

This Bible speaks of him as an ‘Adversary ‘or ‘ Prosecutor’ in the divine courts of Heaven. He is the ‘Accuser of the Brethren.’ (you and I)

THE NEW TESTAMENT:

Satan is spoken of as the, ‘Tempter’, the ‘Prince of this World’, and the, great “Adversary.” He tempted the Lord Jesus Christ and continues to tempt and  test us as true believers in Christ. He is the root cause of sickness and disease.

THE NATURE OF EVIL:

Evil is not a created substance, but a corruption, a choice against a Holy God, which Satan embodies.

But he corrupted himself by choosing to usurp the authority of God, who is the Highest Authority over all powers and dominions.

He is not a god competing with God.                               He is a created being who will fulfil God’s sovereign plan. He is limited when compared to the ‘True and Living God.”

HIS MANY NAMES:

He is called by many names in the Bible fifty four in all.

We will focus only upon his names in Revelation.

1. SATAN: The Adversary.
2. LUCIFER: The Shining One.

  3 BEELZEBUB: The Prince of demons.

   4 TEMPTER, DECEIVER:

   5 THE EVIL ONE:

   6 THE PRINCE OF DARKNESS:

   7 THE ANCIENT SERPANT:

   8 THE FEROCIOUS DRAGON:

He lives up to each name causing the devestation of sin, the fall of man, and the destruction of everything that is good on this Earth.

GOOD NEWS!!

All his evil, lies, robbery, deception, destruction and every evil plan was spoiled at the Cross of Christ.

Jesus conquered sin, death, and Hell, bringing Redemption, Salvation, and Deliverance from the consequences of every sin we have committed.

The very essence of sin was dealt with, including our sinful nature inherited from Adam, the first man.

We become ‘Born Again’, A ‘New Creation in Christ.’

We are crucified with Christ. Grace, Love, and Mercy are extended to us, offering a future and a hope for Heaven. (An expected end.)

Man, who once was dead in trespasses and sins, is now born again, offering new hope, new life, new healing, and new nature being hidden with Christ in God.

THANK GOD FOR CALVARY WHERE JESUS DIED FOR ME…HE BORE MY SHAME, OH, PRAISE HIS NAME, I’LL NEVER BE THE SAME.”

Now, Satan is a defeated foe. No longer can he steal, kill and destroy, unless… we give him the right to do so.

DON’T DO IT… THERE ARE GRAVE CONSEQUENCES.

SATAN IS NOT FINISHED YET!

So don’t be complacent in your Christian walk. Satan, knowing his time is short, is very alert and will increase his onslaughts against you.

He had his power and authority taken away at the cross. Yet, his ultimate defeat and eternal punishment are yet to happen.

One religion teaches that he and Jesus are brothers, saying that Satan is the prodigal and will make amends at the close of time. How erroneous is that!

When Jesus died on the cross of Calvary, He conquered sin, death, and hell, freely offering redemption, salvation, and deliverance from every sin committed.

The Bible teaches that sin entered into the world and death is the physical and spiritual result of sin.

So all people were born with a sinful nature, which is passed upon all men, so we are all sinners. Not one person is born sinless, only Jesus Christ, which is why He is the only one who can save us from the penalty of sin.

The sinful nature inherited from Adam is crucified with Christ and love, grace and mercy are extended to all who call upon His Name.

Man is born again, a new creation and receives all the benefits that accompany it.

So, Satan, now a defeated foe, can no longer steal, kill and destroy unless… we give him the right to do so.

Would you look up these two references in the Word of God.

Colossians 2:15.

Hebrews 2:14.

It’s not all over yet!

Be alert! Because your adversary, Satan, though defeated at the cross, still has dominion over this earth and is yet to face his final judgement, eternal defeat and eternal punishment in the Lake of fire at the end of all things.

He still is the roaring lion who seeks to kill, and devour his prey,

He knows his time is almost over and is ferocious, so he is out to destroy as many victims as he can.

Because he is yet to be bound, he is briefly released for a final rebellion culminating in his eternal torment as described here in Revelation.

SATAN’S FINAL DEMISE.

He will be cast into the Lake of Fire to be tormented for ever and ever.

He will join the Beast and the False Prophet, who are already there.

Revelation 20:10.

Don’t feel sorry for him, for he has free will, as you and I do. He chose to rebel against God.

So do we have the choice to choose blessings or curses? You cannot blame God for your wrong choices or anyone else, either. We are all responsible for our own actions.

All people, of all time, who have rejected God’s plan of Salvation will join Satan and his hordes in that Lake of Fire forever and ever. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (a result of sheer anguish)

HEY! IT IS NOT TOO LATE.

No, it’s not too late for you to be saved.

“WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD, SHALL BE SAVED.”

“NOW IS THE TIME! NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.”

Jesus was emphatic when He said to Nicodemus,

YOU “MUST” BE BORN AGAIN.”

Do not delay any longer,

as it is…

“APPOINTED ONCE UNTO MAN TO DIE, THEN AFTER THAT THE JUDGEMENT.”

Here is the prayer of Salvation you can sincerely pray to receive Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord.

Please pray this prayer…

“Lord God, I have sinned against you and deserve the punishment for sin.

I do thank you that you loved me by sending your Son into this World to suffer and die for my sin.

Please forgive me and save my soul from eternal punishment.

Come into my life right now, cleanse me by your blood. Please change me into the image of Christ and empower me by your Holy Spirit to live a life obedient unto you.

Amen.”

JESUS IS COMING SOON!!

I’m ready… Are YOU!

Revelation Chapter 19:6-9.

What is this great feast that is predicted in the Bible, The marriage supper of the Lamb?

It is the eternal culmination     (coming together) of God’s redemptive plan, uniting all believers with the Lord Jesus Christ in perfect, eternal union with Him.

An extatic, joyful celebration of the marriage of Christ to His Bride.

Some  people believe the Bride are those who are born again believers who are His Church.

Other people believe that the Bride includes a countless multitude of believers from every corner of the World throughout the ages who will be joined in matrimony (union) to the Lord Jesus.

Then some choose to believe that it is not a literal feast, but a symbolic representation of the nourishment of God’s promises. They view the feast as a Communion service, with bread and wine, which nourishes both the spirit and the soul.

Those who believe in a literal feast claim that Isaiah 25:6 points to a feast of rich food and well-aged wine.

Some believe that there will be two marriage feasts. The first, being His marriage to His Church held in Heaven just after the Rapture.

The second is the marriage to Israel after the Great Tribulation, when they repent, return and own Him as Lord and Saviour, the true Messiah.

Those who believe that all believers from the beginning of time will attend this marriage supper doubt that God could feed trillions of people at one sitting. This is not a problem for the Creator of the whole universe, who spoke the worlds into being. He certainly could” furnish a table in the wilderness.”

Symbolic or not, the marriage supper of the lamb celebrates the joyous union with His followers, where all Heaven will celebrate the eternal rule and reign of Christ and His people. This is the long-awaited reunion between the Saviour and those He died to save.

Jesus Himself anticipated this moment when He spoke of drinking the wine anew in His Father’s kingdom.

WHO ARE THE GUESTS?

They are most probably the believers, including the Church itself, along with the Old Testament saints, and those who came to Christ, and those who were martyred for their faith during the tribulation.

So it includes all the redeemed souls who, by faith, have believed in the finished work of the cross, His mighty resurrection, and the promise of His soon coming.

Every person who is a guest is not invited on his or her own merit, but rather upon the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ. They are clothed in clean, fine white linen, which is the Righteousness of the saints.

“It’s not according to our own righteousness, which we have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us.”

THE TIMING.

When will the event take place?

Again peoples opinions differ.

Many christians take the view that it happens…

AFTER THE RAPTURE.

Or

DURING THE TRIBULATION.

Or

AFTER THE BEMA SEAT JUDGEMENT

Or.

DURING THE MILLENIUM

Or

AFTER THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT.

Or

BEFORE THE SECOND COMING. 

(The Revelation.)

I am not sure when it will take place, but I know it will happen because God has predicted it. I am more concerned that you, dear reader, will be an honoured guest as His beautiful ‘Blood-washed Bride.’

God loves you passionately, and He has provided a way for you to be a part of His glorious Kingdom through His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

“FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD. (You and I) THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, (Jesus) THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM, SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING (Eternal) LIFE.”

John 3:16.

HE IS THE ONLY WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. NO MAN CAN COME UNTO THE FATHER, BUT THROUGH HIM.”

John 14:6.

Dear reader, dont delay any longer, invite Him into your life today. Tell Him you are a sinner, then ask Him to forgive and save you.

He will… certainly include you at the wonderful feast.

Believe that He rose again, victorious over sin, Hell and death. YOU WILL BE SAVED!

If you have prayed the prayer of Salvation, then rejoice!! You are now His bride, awaiting the … MARRIAGE FEAST OF THE LAMB.

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT.

The Great White Throne Judgement is the final, ultimate judgement described in Revelation 20:11-15, when all unbelievers and the unsaved dead resurrected after the millenium, stand before God sitting on a great white throne, presided over by Jesus Christ, to be judged by their works that has been recorded in open books, with those who are not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of fire for eternal punishment, signifying the end of sin and separation from God.

THE TIMING.

This occurs after the 1,000-year reign of Christ (millenium) and Satan’s final rebellion, just before the New Heavens and the new earth.

WHO IS JUDGED?

All unbelievers, the wicked dead from all ages, and those whose names aren’t written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

PARTICIPANTS:

All unbelievers from all ages, including those who have rejected Christ and lived without faith in Him.

THE JUDGE:

Jesus Christ will be seated upon a pure, righteous White Throne.

THE PROCESS.

The sea, death and Hades release the dead. The Books (records of their deeds) and the Book of Life are opened.

People will be judged by their works performed on this Earth and whether their names are written in The Lamb’s Book of Life.

THE OUTCOME:

Those whose names are not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire, which is called the Second Death.

SIGNIFICANCE:

It is the ultimate display of God’s holiness, justice and righteousness, resolving the sin issue for all eternity.

TWO OR THREE JUDGEMENTS?

Some believers believe that there are three judgements.

1. The BEMA SEAT JUDGEMENT. The first judgement of the sheep and the goats, or the judgement of the Nations, is found in Matthew’s gospel 28:31-3. It will take place after the Tribulation period and will determine who will enter the millennium.
2. Believers will only go to the Judgement Seat of Christ.
3. Non believers who have rejected God’s offer of Salvation through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice upon the cross of Calvary, will enter into eternal punishment. Romans 14: 10-12.

Not everyone believe these interpretations and they choose to believe that Revelation 20: 11-15 will be the time that the saved and the unsaved alike will be judged.

Those whose names are found in the Book of Life will be judged for their deeds in the flesh and will receive rewards or lose them.

Other Christians believe that the three judgments mentioned speak of one judgment, not three. So that the Great White Throne Judgement in Revelation 20:11-15 speaks of  the judgement of both believers and unbelievers.

Matthew 25:31-46. Some believe that this passage refers to the Great White Throne judgement. But there is no mention of the resurrected dead.

Jesus refers to those He calls” my brethren”, who may refer to the Jewish remnant who will have preached the gospel to all nations during the tribulation.

WHICH VEIW IS RIGHT?

Great men of God who are revered as great Theologians differ from one another and cannot agree. Each teacher holds fast to their interpretation, believing it to be the truth of God revealed to them by the Holy Spirit.

As a novice, I dare not argue for or against their interpretations, but rather gather the significant facts written therein. The truths that cannot argued against.

The fact is that Jesus is definitely returning to Earth to establish His new, unshakeable Kingdom on a new Heaven and a new Earth.

The old Earth is totally destroyed by fire.

All men are sinners and Jesus is the only means of Salvation.

He completed the plan of redemption through His finished work upon the cross. He gloriously rose from the dead, opening the way to “Whosoever will may come, ” that “all men can be saved from death and Hell.” There is no other way to the Father but through Him.

There is a coming judgement for those who reject the offer of Salvation.

There are rewards for believers who have lived holy, obedient lives and are faithful unto death.

All believers are the, Bride of Christ and will attend the marriage supper of the Lamb.

There is no sickness, pain, sorrow or death in that Kingdom. All tears will be wiped away.

Praise God, there will be no sin or temptation to commit any form of evil.

Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire with his powers of darkness to be tormented forevermore.

There are additional details mentioned, and you should read and study them for yourself. Don’t be like the average Christian and skip reading the book of Revelation, and throw it in the too-hard basket.

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you personally from His precious, exciting, life changing Word.

He will!!

Read the Gospels and the Epistles and learn how to live a life worthy of your calling.  Grow in Grace and the knowledge of His Word.

Love not the World and the things in it.

Share the Gospel with the lost. Heal the sick, raise the dead, do the work of an Evangelist.

Put God first in everything you do, be continually filled with the Holy Spirit…The wonderful thing for which I am eternally grateful  is…

I will not sin in that day, I will at last be living my full potential. That is an exact copy of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

What a privelege.

What a miracle.

A new creation fulfilling God’s perfect plan.

And that’s just the beginning of etrnal bliss the peace and joy of living in Heaven.

For, “GREAT IS YOUR REWARD IN HEAVEN.”

THE SOUNDING OF THE TRUMPETS.

THE FIRST TRUMPET.

It is blown by an

Angel.

With its sounding, one-third of the world faces irreversible damage, beginning with vegetation.             Read Revelation chapter. 8:6,7.

THE SECOND TRUMPET.

The sound of this Trumpet will cause devastation from the salt water.                 See verses 8-9. Something that looked like a great mountain burning with fire was plunged into the sea.  It destroys a third of the water, becoming blood. A third of living creatures die. A third of the ships are destroyed. How many people are on these vessels? It averages out at 17,000 ships.

It could be a giant meteor thrown into the sea.

Who throws it?

Maybe a huge Angel! In Ezekiel, there is an Angel so tall that he reaches from Earth to Heaven.

The damage is irreparable. Imagine the destruction of all the Marine businesses in that vicinity.

THE THIRD TRUMPET.

Now they will experience the devastation of the fresh water due to a star falling to earth from Heaven.  The name of it is called Wormwood! It’s likened to a burning torch and causes the water to taste bitter. Many people die due to its poisoning effects.

Verses 8-11

In Scripture, wormwood is used to illustrate bitterness, as seen in the words of the Prophet Jeremiah: “He has filled me with bitterness; He has made me drink Wormwood.”

Lamentations 3:15. Lives will be taken massively in a few days.

THE FOURTH TRUMPET.

The sounding of this trumpet will affect the skies, changing them forever. A third of the Sun, Moon, and stars will suddenly lose their light forever. Light is the source of warmth, so if one-third of the Sun is darkened, the Earth will freeze immediately. If you have survived the first three trumpets, then certainly this could be your life’s end.

Strangely, though, people curse God and do not repent. His mercy is everlasting, and He is always ready to forgive and deliver those who will put their complete trust in Him through Jesus Christ.

Today’s problems are a piece of cake compared to what’s coming. Turn to the Saviour now and secure your place in eternity. There is only one way to the Father: Through Jesus Christ the Lord. He said, “I am the way, the Truth, and the Life; no man can come to the Father except through me.”

These people at this time are not innocent victims who are afflicted. They are earning the wages of their own sin.

As it is, it still becomes far worse, for there are three more Angels yet to sound their trumpets.

See verse 13.

THE FIFTH TRUMPET.

This is called a Woe! Translated as an expression of pain and anger, a woeful cry of distress.

At this stage, the whole world is in utter turmoil. Hospitals are overcrowded, governments have collapsed, and no one has time to help as they are in survival mode.

After the fifth Angel has sounded there will be three “Woes” that begin.

THE FIRST WOE!

The Bottomless Pit. Another name used in Scripture is ABYSS.

This place is filled with demonic powers of darkness. This is where Satan is cast for a thousand years. Then he is released after that time to deceive the Nations again.

This Woe is devastating for those who are still alive because they are unable to die, as death cannot slay them.

From the pit, smoke ascends, and intermingling with the smoke are deadly Scorpions like demons. They were restricted to harming only those who have surrendered to the “Mark of the Beast.”

This time, God protects the grass, any green thing, or any tree. Rev 9:2-6. These Locusts do not attack the food supply as they did in Egypt. Instead, they feed on men, women, and children. They will continue causing searing pain for five months.

I hope many people will turn to God, because there are no longer any other escape options.

This is only the first woe; there are two more to come!

THE SIXTH TRUMPET.

A command is given to this Angel, “Blow your trumpet to … “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” Revelation 9:12-14.

The river Euphrates originate in modern day Turkey, flows through Syria, enters Iraq and empties into the Persian Golf.

Many people depend upon it for food, drinking water 💦 and electricity.

They are released to kill a demonic army of 200 million troops. I do not know where this army originated. They could be a supernatural force of humans possessed by demons. This army of horror wipes out another third of humanity, which would number in the Billions. For a description of them, read              Revelation 

9:15-19.

THE SEVENTH ANGEL.

This Angel is huge; he stands on the sea and reaches toward the Heavens. His grand appearance was like that of the Son of God- a rainbow on his head, a brilliant shining face, and feet of fire. How spectacular. No, he is not Christ but a messenger of God. Once he arrives, he lets out a terrifying roar of a lion that makes the world stop to pay attention.

John was not allowed to repeat what was uttered by the seven thunders nor write them down.

When he blows his trumpet it meant that the mystery of God is coming to a conclusion.

The mystery seems to reference many prophecies concerning the Millennial reign of Christ, a time of 1,000 years during which He will reign on this earth. He arrives to establish his Kingdom on the very location from which he left—the Mount of Olives.

Acts 1: 9-11.    

Lastly, we observe the “Bitter Sweet scroll.”

It is a little book with writing on both sides, inside and out. Instead of reading it as we would, he was told to eat it!! Why would God ask him to do this? 

He was to internalise the message to share the word of truth… God’s Word, not adulterated with his own thoughts or ideas. Sweet words representing the Gospel of Christ, and the bitter taste of the wrath of God yet to come. That would give you an upset stomach.

It’s so upsetting to read what lies ahead, and my heart breaks for those who will not listen and heed its warnings.

I am not afraid for myself as I am secure in Christ. Actually it heightens my zeal to win  more souls as possible to save them from the wrath which is to come.

Christian, it’s time that you get out of your sweet comfort zone and reach the lost, lonely and broken for Jesus.

Forget about your fear, your embarrassment and boldly share your testimony of knowing Christ.

As Paul says,

” I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ; it is the power of God unto Salvation.” Romans 1:8.

THE SEVEN SEALS.

The book of Revelation summed up falls into three movements which follows.

THE FIRST MOVEMENT. Chapter 1-5. The enthronement of Christ on the Throne in Heaven.

THE SECOND MOVEMENT. Chapter 6-20.

The Great Tribulation.               The Wrath of God. The enthronement of Christ on Earth.

THE THIRD MOVEMENT. Chapter 21-22. Where Christ sits on His Throne in the New Creation. Christ, the Lamb, in supreme control of all the Earth.

He is there “now” see chapter 3:21.

“Even as I overcame, and sat down with my Father on His Throne in Heaven.”

Enthronement has already taken place in Heaven.

Hey, dear reader, He that sits on The Glorious Throne of God is in control of your life.

Is He “Lord” over your life? He loves you passionately.                  

You must crown Him “King of All Kings,” over everything that pertains to you. 

Your Home and Family.

Your  Relationships.

Your Finances.

Your Circumstances.

Your Health, your Hopes and Dreams and …                       YOUR HEART!

So you won’t become confused, we will try to summarise the events in order of their application.

A. The Son of Man amid the Lampstands.

CHRIST IN HEAVEN “OPERATING” THROUGH THE CHURCH ON EARTH.

B. The Seven letters to the Churches on Earth.

THE CHURCH ON THE EARTH “FUNCTIONING” FOR CHRIST IN HEAVEN.

C. The Heavenly Throne and Worship.

THIS BEING THE PLACE OF SUPREME AUTHORITY.

D. The Lamb and the seven sealed book or scroll.

WHERE CHRIST, THE LAMB, IS IN TOTAL CONTROL.

THE SEVEN SEALS.

The Lamb of God (Jesus) opens each seal, revealing specific events that point towards the end times.

They are mentioned in chapters 6-9 and are a series of symbolic seals that, when opened, will unleash a series of apocalyptic events and judgements upon the earth.

In his vision, John sees a scroll ( book). The opening of each seal releases a different aspect of the end times, including the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Here is the breakdown of the Seven Seals.

1. THE FIRST SEAL:

The first seal is opened to reveal a WHITE HORSE. Its rider carries a bow and is wearing a crown symbolising a conquest. The rider of this horse is interpreted as a Figure of ” False Peace.”  And “Deceptive Authority.”

2. THE SECOND SEAL:

The opening of this sale releases a

“RED HORSE.” Symbolising war and the removal of peace upon the Earth. The rider is given power to remove all peace from off the Earth.

Can you imagine the chaos that will replace that peace?

Fear, doubt and unbelief will rule the heart of man. His mind will be controlled by bitterness, anger, and evil instead of quiet confidence.

His speech. Men will be at each other’s throats to vent their anger upon those they have chosen not to trust. There will be violence, murder, and persecution toward those once called friends. Conscience will not bother them as they become totally depraved. (As it was in the days of Noah)

Lies, betrayal, and self-exaltation will motivate them to destroy one another. Endless worry, sleepless nights, sick bodies and tormented souls will result from peace taken off the Earth. That peace of God, the peace that surpasses all understanding,  is removed, and War and conflict remain. What a terrible plight.

The cause of war is found in the book of James. Chapter 4:1-3.

Only in Revelation will the effects be global.

3. THE THIRD SEAL. The third seal reveals a “BLACK HORSE,” Representing Famine, disease, and economic hardship. The rider carries a pair of scales to measure and ration food. This is caused by the war revealed in the second Seal. The lack of fresh, nutritious food would definitely cause the spread of disease.

The evil Terrorist organisation, Hamas, is doing this in Gaza at this very moment. They are starving their own people by withholding humanitarian aid from them and using the money for the destruction of Israel.

4. THE FOURTH SEAL.

When opened, this seal unleashes a “PALE HORSE” (Green Horse) symbolising death and destruction. The rider is named “DEATH,” and “Hell” follows him. Many people die in many and various ways. This is an eternal death!

5. THE FIFTH SEAL:

The MARTYRS CRY! Those who were martyred for their faith cry out for vengeance for their deaths upon their enemies. They are given pristine white robes. They are told they must wait until the full number of martyrs is completed.

6. THE SIXTH SEAL.

This seal brings cosmic chaos and destruction, including a horrific Earthquake, a darkened Sun, a blood-red moon, and the terror of falling stars. A period of intense tribulation and fear.

7. THE SEVENTH SEAL.

This seal will introduce seven Angels with Seven Trumpets. They will unleash further judgments upon the Earth. This seventh seal will lead to the magnificent blasting of the seven trumpets. They will permeate the whole existence of time and eternity, declaring the seven Bowl Judgments.

It isn’t easy to imagine, yet it is true and will certainly come to pass.

We may not understand how it will happen, but we, by faith like the Martyrs of old, look for a better City made without hands—the CITY OF GOD.

THE  LIVING UNSHAKABLE KINGDOM OF GOD.

Meanwhile, you must remain faithful, loyal, and obedient to your Heavenly Calling and be ready when He comes.

Amen.

You will only survive if you are a born again child of the living God. Jesus was imperative when He said,  “YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN!

Ask Jesus to save you now … He is coming soon!!

SEVEN CHURCHES CONTINUED…

Sardis was formerly the capital of the ancient city of Lydia. The king of Sardis was an extremely wealthy man. The city was one of the noblest and most significant cities of the East. They manufactured textiles, dyes, and jewellery.

Sardis was the center of philosophy and study, but it was also filled with cults and idolatrous worship.  They practised pagan orgies of gross immorality that were an abomination to God.

Jesus knew what went on in their secret places, and though they were physically alive, they were spiritually dead! The words they spoke were not acceptable to God. Jesus commands them to be watchful and strengthen the things that remain, those that really count in the eyes of God.

Today, we also must not allow worldly practices to override our zeal for the lost or our love for each other. Is Jesus Lord in the things in which you involve yourself?

Are your motives driven by love and holiness?  Are you spending time in prayer and the Word, seeking His will in all things? 

Sardis looked good on the outside but was full of dead men’s bones. James 2:18. “Your faith must be evident in your works.”

PHILADELPHIA.  

This Church was about 30 miles from Sardis, situated at the gate way to the central plateau and had a thriving business in  the production of wine. The area was prone to many earthquakes and the city had to be rebuilt several times.

Please read chapter 3:8,9.  

Jesus, instead of finding fault with them, drew attention to their potential. This Church was an open door of evangelical outreach to the kingdoms surrounding it—the kingdoms of Lydia, Mysia, and Pergamum. Many Merchants would pass through the city, giving them great opportunities to reach many people across the Roman Empire with the Gospel.

As Paul had prayed so should you and I.

“Lord, open the doors of opportunity for me to love people and share the truth of the Gospel. Please grant me the power, authority and the boldness  to go through those doors and reach the lost and dying souls that need you so desperately.”

Amen!

LAODICEA.

LAODICEA was the farthest south of all the other churches along the Lycus River. It was known for producing wool cloth.

Laodicea was decimated by a huge earthquake, but it’s population was able to rebuild its city without the help of Rome.

High above the city are mountains with sparkling white snow.                        Below flows a hot-water spring that rises out of the earth. As the snow melts, the freezing water flows down the mountains and merges with the hot springs, resulting in a lukewarm river.

Jesus used this as an illustration to warn them that He was not pleased with lukewarm spiritual behaviour.

He told them in his letter,

“I know your works; you are not hot or cold. I would love you to be one or the other,  but you are neither cold nor hot! Because you are lukewarm, I will spew (vomit) you out of my mouth.”                  Revelation 3:15,16.

God is not happy with  the middle road Christian, the casual, compromising Christian.

Some people take the High Road, Some people take the low.

Others wander on the misty flats in-between with no purpose in life.

Which one will you choose to walk!

Choose the high road. It may be sacrificial, but it’s the Greatest life you can live. It is the way of peace, joy, and a purpose for living.

Jesus set a high standard for us to follow, a life of denial of self and taking up the cross to follow Him. Matthew 16:24-25.

It’s not a miserable life of denial, but a life of gain and worth living!

There is always a resurrection into a life that is worth the living.

THE SEVEN CHURCHES. 

The letters to the seven churches are addressed to each one, but the message is to the Whole Church. It is worth noting that—except for Smyrna and Philadelphia—the danger from within each Church was more destructive than the danger from without. Jesus knew each church’s strengths and weaknesses. The Holy Spirit needed to work differently on each one, so He does with each of us.

We must take our eyes off the faults and failures of other Christian brothers and sisters in Christ, and and be open to the Holy Spirit to change us into His likeness and image.

Chapter 2: 1-7

EPHESUS.                        

This Church at EPHESUS was firmly established and possessed spiritual discernment. Sound doctrine was taught, but there was an absence of love. Love for Christ and one another was not as it used to be.

“You have lost your ‘first’ love.” This first love was commended by the Lord through the apostle Paul. Ephesians 1 15,16.

The first believers faced many trials in building the church, and their love for it kept them loyal and living for others who gave their all to establish it. Now, the next generation was too comfortable in their house without many challenges. They became used to the easier environment.

Jesus warns them of a severe penalty if they do not repent and change their behaviour.

A good, functional church is healthy, but there is a danger that over-involvement can sometimes keep people from spending time with Christ. I’ve seen marriages crumble and neglected children go astray due to over-church commitment.

In the average church 10 percent of people do 90 percent of the Work!

In large Churches, you can miss a service and not be noticed. You can also attend social activities instead of prayer meetings, discipleship courses, or Bible studies.

It wasn’t so much that the Ephesians had become slack in their church but they had lost their … FIRST LOVE FOR CHRIST!

The members of this Church had made a brave stand despite external pressure, but some people had become addicted to false teaching, which allowed pagan practices to creep in. This city was large, with many temples, a university, and a 200,000-book Library. Its most crucial export was parchment. It is the city from which animal-skin-based writing derived its name.

Your love for Christ must motivate everything you do in your church. When you love Him as He deserves, you will quickly learn to love others and serve Him in your Church.

SMYRNA.

Smyrna was a large city in Asia Minor. It had a fine harbour and was the political centre of this region.

I pray we will examine our lives through God’s grace and knowledge. Because our Lord Jesus’s return is soon, we need to be diligent to be ready when He comes.

The Nicolations were causing Christians to wander from sound doctrine and excuse their fleshly Desires to sin. Flesh wasn’t real, so whatever you do with your body is not counted as sin. They had gone back to the sinful old ways they practised before they were converted.

One of the city’s Chief exports was Myrrh, a fragrance that the wise men gave to Jesus at his birth.

Amen.

Smyrna was a little church, poverty-stricken but rich in all that mattered.                Jesus’s word to them was all encouragement. He was encouraging them that there was a limit to their suffering because He holds out to them the gift that goes beyond the grave.

God calls us to guard our hearts and diligently live righteous lives according to His Word. We must do this every day. We need to constantly fight the World, the Flesh and the Devil, praying always with all prayers and supplications. Don’t embrace watered-down, compromised doctrine.

The persecution that they were under was great.

Read Revelation chapter 2: 9-11.

Jesus understood what was happening and told them to focus on what was waiting for them up ahead. He speaks the same words to you today in the midst of trials of poverty and persecution.

“BE FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH AND I WILL GIVE YOU A CROWN OF LIFE.”

True suffering is not being inconvenienced or restricted by governments or higher authorities, it is far more than that.

I’m countries such as South Sudan or Northern Nigeria or Iran or North Korea or China who are suffering for the cause of Christ is real persecution.

They suffer pain and loss, they understand about being … FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH. They hold to the promise… “I WILL GIVE YOU A CROWN OF LIFE.”

If you are under constant persecution from an ungodly husband or a member of your family because you are a Christian. Hold fast to the Word of God. This promise is also for you! There is a “Crown of Life ” that awaits you.

PERGAMUM.

Jesus was very much aware that Satan’s throne was there ( Worship of the Emperor ) and the influence of evil idolatry had permeated the Church. ( A massive idol of Zeus dominated the town.)  

Many people were flocking to the Temples of Asclepius for healing.          

Theology was disturbing as they followed the teachings of Balaam and began to live like unbelievers, eating food offered to idols and participating in sexual immorality.

The minority remained faithful and keǰpt their eyes upon Jesus’ Read, Revelation,

chapter 2: 14-15.

THE RISE OF THE ANTICHRIST.

He is also called the “Man of Sin”, “The man of Lawlessness.” He is publicly known as “The Beast!”

He appears after the Church’s Rapture.

Imagine the chaos that the Rapture causes; people will be traumatised, and the whole world will be panicking as their loved ones disappear before their very eyes. Then he appears. He feins Himself as God, he has all the answers but is the cleverest imposter alive. People believe that he is the Messiah and flock toward him.

This is called the “End Times” or “The Day of the Lord. “It is not a 24-hour period of time.

It is rather an extended period that includes the seven-year tribulation ( as previously mentioned) and Christ’s return to put down the rebellion against Him. This is followed by Christ’s 1,000-year reign on earth, the final defeat of Satan, and the… GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT.

The Anti-Christ, as he is called, the…                              Man of Lawlessness.

Because he will oppose in every way the God of the Bible and His Law. He is utterly lawless.

Read Daniel chapter Seven.

He promises peace.

He unites the Nations politically, economically and religiously under his dominion.

He makes a covenant with Israel to stop their sacrifices to God. He is a master of Deception.

He desecrates the Third Temple by declaring that … He is God! There by demanding sole worship.

This is the meaning of the phrase,

“ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION.” Matthew 13:14.

SATAN AT WORK!

Satan can only work through this Antichrist because he cannot become incarnate as Jesus did. He possesses and controls the Man of Sin.

Satan is worshipped  (Being his desire all along, since the temptation of Jesus at the beginning of His ministry on earth.)

He thinks that he has taken the place of God. (He is totally deluded!!)  The words of Jesus ring throughout all eternity, “WORSHIP THE  LORD YOUR GOD AND HIM ONLY YOU SHALL WORSHIP.”

Call to remembrance Philippians  Chapter 2:10,11

“EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT ‘HE IS LORD’ TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER. OF THINGS IN HEAVEN, ON EARTH, AND UNDER THE EARTH.”    

Everything, every created being will worship Jesus as God.

Hallelujah!!

The man of Sin is symbolised as a beast due to his evil character and violent actions. His rule is the final one of a succession of secular rulers, and his kingdom will be the last before Jesus returns to reign forever.

He has no power of his own; he is a puppet on the string of Satan, only empowered by the evil One himself.

In the first part of his rule, he will appear as a worldwide peacemaker.

During

The second three and a half years of the Tribulation, he dramatically changes from a …

“Dream maker”  to a             “Dictator.”

Those who worship Him are those whose names are6 “not” written in the “Lamb’s book of Life”

But there  are those who have turned to Christ and are “born again.”

People will come to Christ during the Tribulation, but will lay down their lives in martyrdom for His sake. They refuse to wear the Mark of the Beast.

HIS FINAL END!

When the King of all Kings comes to earth, He will fight the armies of the Ant-Christ and totally defeat them. Jesus Christ, the ALL CONQUERING ONE, THE WORD OF GOD, WILL BE THE VICTORY, THE MAJESTY AND THE GLORY.

Today, we see the hand of God already at work, bringing all things into order, ready for the coming of Christ. 

Don’t wait until things go bad, sin is rampant, and God pours wrath upon this earth 🌎. You might not want to turn to God by then!

Receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour now. Become a follower of Him. You must do it now. Time is short, and He is coming soon. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through the horrifying Tribulation.

Please pray this prayer.

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the Name of Jesus, your Son, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Thank you for His crucifixion and resurrection. Jesus, come into my life now, forgive my sins, and save my soul. Thank you for your sacrifice on the cross. I will live for you in this world until you come back for me the last time. I make you my Lord. Fill me with your Holy Spirit that I may be empowered to live a life pleasing to you.

Amen.
