SIMON PETER.

Peter was also known as Cephas.
He was one of the first followers of Jesus Christ.
What I love about Peter is that he had no pretence. You must choose if you would make him your friend; if you decided not to include him in your life, it wouldn’t affect him. He was honest with no pretence. He was an outspoken and adamant disciple. Jesus was glad to have him as a friend. He loved Pete dearly.
He was an Apostle and a “Pillar” of the church.
HIS CHARACTER.
He was enthusiastic, strong willed, impulsive and at times brash.
But for all his strength, he was sensitive. Peter had feelings that could be easily wounded by unnecessary comments.
Jesus was patient and lovingly moulded him exactly for who He intended Pete to be.
We must allow Jesus to mold us into His image and likeness by allowing adverse circumstances to come our way. Romans 8: 28, 29.
Peter was introduced to the Saviour by his brother Andrew. Read John 1:35,36.
Jesus gave him a new name, thus changing it to Cephas (Aramaic)
The Greek, meaning … “Rock.” John 1: 40-42.
Later, Jesus officially called Peter to follow Him and confirmed it with a miraculous catch of fresh fish!

Immediately. Peter left everything behind to accompany Jesus and became a, “Fisher of Men.”
Jesus saw in Pete and natural born gift of leadership. He became the spokesman for the twelve Disciples.
More significantly, it was Peter who first confessed Jesus as,
“THE CHRIST.” THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD.”
This was the “Truth” Divinely revealed to Peter.
Mathew 16: 16.-17.
PETER’S PRIVILEGES.
He was present as Jesus healed Jirus’ daughter and raised her from the dead.
What a glorious experience to be on the mountain top and witness the Transfiguration of Jesus. Indeed a glorious experience.
As I mentioned previously Peter was known to be impetuous to the point of rashness.

On one occasion, Jesus was walking on the water toward them as they sat amazed in their boat and very afraid. He had not calmed the boisterous waves of the deep. Note, on this occasion, Jesus didn’t calm the boisterous water, He calmed the disciples by saying,
“FEAR NOT, I AM!”
Peter, full of Faith, said, “Command me to come to you on the water” He beckoned Peter to “Come.” So dear Peter walked on the water!
Then, the wild wind continued to rage, blowing his hair across his face and causing the foam to rise upon his body. Then, Peter took his eyes off Jesus, allowing the circumstances to overwhelm him to the point of panic. As he began to sink, he cried out in despair,
“LORD, SAVE ME!!”
Immediately, Jesus stretched out His Strong and Mighty hand and caught him.

Immediately they were in the boat… The wind ceased!
The other Disciples could do nothing… but “Worship Him.”
You must cry out to Jesus in your storms of life. He will calm your troubled waters and call to your attention the contrary winds that blow against you. (Demons or men or whatever it be).

IMMEDIATELY!
They all will submit to His Will, His Power and Authority. Then you will know PEACE “In the storm” and PEACE “Before the storm.”
THE PEACE BEYOND YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING.
HIS PEACE for,
HE “IS” PEACE!
Hallelujah.
See the various items in this message, the word “IMMEDIATELY.” God downloaded them as I wrote this.
How amazing !! There is a message … in just One Word. If we pray and believe, we will receive immediately!
Blessings Heather.🌹
Blessings, everyone; I trust you can take the time to read my blogs. God gives me revelation from His very Heart that will surely encourage and teach you as you travel life’s journey. Many readers say they have too many notifications and cannot find time to read them. I do understand that, so do I. Let me suggest that first thing in the morning, as soon as you get up, sit down, have a cuppa, and then read the blog. It takes approximately Two minutes to read. Do this every Thursday, as each one is distributed. I am praying simultaneously that God will be revealed to you in a new and fresh way.
Thank you for taking the time to ponder with me as we continue to seek His will, believe His Word and teach others to do so.
