DAILY PRACTICES THAT SIGNAL YOUR READINESS.
As I said before, not many Christians read the book of Revelation, so they cannot make suitable preparation for Jesus’ coming.
So we will prepare ourselves in this study generally from overall Scripture admonition.
- Expectant watchfulness. He is coming at an hour you do not know. (Suddenly)
- Holding on to His promises and acting upon them.
- Self examination of your christian walk in line with God’s Word.
- Cultivating holiness and service empowered by the Holy Spirit.
5 Moral purity in speech, actions and character.
6 Thorough self examination of your Christlike behaviour.
7 Investing every resource. Your time, talent and money in Kingdom priorities.
8 Encouraging other believers in the Word.
9 By spreading the Gospel urgently.
TRUST THAT THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE WILL HONOUR EVERY ACT OF FAITH WHEN HE APPEARS.
He said it three times,
“I AM COMING SOON.”
So we must sharpen our focus and don’t be complacent.
We do not love the World or the things of the World.
Do not give up on your calling and become weary in well doing.
Your readiness rests on what He accomplished on Calvary… His finished work.
Remind yourself to be faithful as He is faithful.
THE FINAL WARNING.
Read Revelation 22:18,19.
John is warning all christians of all time not to add to this prophesy nor to subtract from it’s truth. There are dia consequences.
Plagues that will kill and destroy, and your name will be removed from the Book of Life and from the Holy City and all the future promises that accompany it.
So in the final few verses of this letter, we see the seriousness of the message once again.
These verses are a repeat of what had already been stated in the Old Testament. Deuteronomy 9:2 12:32
Proverbs 30:6
Jeremiah 26:2.

Man cannot mess with God’s Holy Word. It means more than just changing what it says. It is when a person denies that the book is inspired by God, and that is taking away from it.
They claim to know better than God and will not take heed to the Word which is fully and accurately inspired of God.
These false teachers deny the saving grace of God and will, in fact, be punished in the Lake of Fire.
But for those of you who believe…
THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BE WITH YOU ALL.
