” THE CURE FOR CARE”
“Casting all your care upon Him… for He cares for you.” 1Peter 5:7.
There are two kinds of care in this verse. There is. “ANXIOUS CARE ” in the words, casting all your CARE upon HIM.
Then there is “AFFECTIONATE CARE” in the words: “He cares for you.” Let’s look at the first part of the verse in the Greek…He CARES for you Over against all our worries and cares is the Saviour’s never-ending “AFFECTIONATE CARE.”
Take the first part of the scripture.
He cares “once and for all, and for all of us.”
So… Cast all the cares you have at this MOMENT upon Him, then cast all your FUTURE cares that may come. The cares that will emerge out of these cares!!
Cast them on Him right now! As one lump sum. This brings mental relief!
No, you don’t imagine new worries.
Notice that Peter is telling us to cast “All our cares.
Not just the large, but the small.
The spiritual and the material.
Cast them not only part of the time, but ‘all’ of the time in any circumstance. Cast them on Him.
We use the word ‘care’, but its true meaning is… ANXIETY!
THIS IS SO COOL!!
You transfer the Weight of them to Jesus. So if you still have to live with circumstances… HE WILL CARRY YOU!!
Think about this. “IF HE CAN UPHOLD THE UNIVERSE, HE CAN UPHOLD YOU!”
Think of how Powerful He is; it is not so much about how heavy they are… because whatever concerns you… matters very much to Him! Nothing is too heavy for Him to carry. He is not only near to you.
He is IN you. HE CARES FOR YOU EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!
“CAST ALL YOUR CARES AND ANXIETIES UPON JESUS, FOR HE SPECIFICALLY.. CARES FOR YOU!”
YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A WEIGHTLESSNESS NEVER FELT BEFORE!😌
How wonderful it is to be free of all worries and cares.
You sleep well.
Your health improves.
You experience joy and satisfaction.
You become aware of other people in need.
You gain new friends.
You are closer to God.
Peace rules your soul.
All this gives you hope for the future.
Share this with those you know are held prisoner by worry, fear, and depression.
Bless you!!
