6. THE VOICE FROM THE WORLDWIND!

GOD HIMSELF SPEAKS!

Chapter 38-41. (Please take time to read it.)

I think of the verse that says.

“THE LORD IS IN HIS HOLY TEMPLE.               LET ALL EARTH BE SILENT BEFORE HIM.”

In this instance when God speaks, the five men are struck dumb with awe at the sound of his voice. It was …

“LIKE THE SOUND OF MANY WATERS,”    breaking forth upon them from the whirling air.

The first thing we notice that God does not give Job an explanation for his suffering.                           Nor does He argue with Job.                                       He does not humiliate Job, yet Job is humbled by Gods Powerful, Wise and Wonderful Words.

There are some things about human suffering that God cannot possibly explain to us without destroying the very purpose for which they are designed.

God was well aware and concerned about what Job was going through.          He was with him in His Divine love and care.

He always keeps His Promises.

He was ever watching, hearing, caring for and waiting for the right time to deliver him.                           Soon Job would realise this with sudden vividness and learn how wrong his friends were in their accusations.

God had Job, as He has you on his mind when He demonstrated His Grace upon the Cross of Calvary, through Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord.

HE DEARLY LOVES YOU, WHOEVER YOU ARE, AND HOW VILE YOU HAVE BECOME. SALVATION IS OPEN TO YOU.

Have you identified with Job and come to the point where you can rest upon God Himself, apart from an explanation from Him?

You need to trust God in the Dark.

Trust Him when the storm is raging.

When you think you are exhausted from people’s opinions about you.

You can trust Him though you are,

Judged wrongly,

Contradicted,

Ridiculed,

Misunderstood,

Blamed and analysed by the opinions of men.

Even your philosophical reasoning must be put aside.

God in Christ suffered for us all.

Be real as Jesus was real. There were times He spoke and times He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, So … “He opened not his mouth.”

“THE JUST FOR THE UNJUST.”

“YOU ARE THE  RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM.” (Christ Jesus)

Finally, God’s discourse was to bring Job to the End of himself.               To the end of his own:

Self-Righteousness!

Self-Vindication!

Self-Wisdom!

Self-Everything!!

WHY?

THAT HE MIGHT FIND HIS ‘ALL IN GOD.’

Please read,             Chapter 40:1-5.                 Job declares,

“Lord, I will shut my mouth! “Now I see and I have uttered what l didn’t understand.”

Dear reader, where do you fit in this story?

What do you need to change in your life?             Sometimes we mouth off things that are beyond us, just to get attention.

THE LORD SAID, “OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND
I WILL FILL IT..” LAY THAT TONGUE ON THE ALTAR OF SACRIFICE.

We are to choose:

When to speak.

How and what to speak to other people.

Go on about Jesus!   Exhube the Joy of the Lord. He is your strength.

Don’t go on and on about your illness or problems to everyone you meet …

Then you will hear Him speak to you. He is speaking all the time.

It is sin that blocks His voice so you cannot hear.

If you do not you will hear another voice, the voice of guilt, condemnation, blame and shame. You hear the voice of the accuser who in the beginning of this true story accused Job.

Listen carefully.

I am not saying that you can’t tell someone about your pain, sorrow and desperation. We need to speak to trusting friends so they can pray for us. We all need a shoulder to cry on.

So don’t be a religious martyr and pretend that everything is, ‘Fine and Dandy’ “Well praise the Lord.”

Oh, Jesus, I am sorry for my sin. Come into my life and save me, heal me and deliver me from the evil one. FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM AND THE POWER AND THE GLORY, FOREVER, AMEN.

Pray for wisdom to know to whom you can open up and bare your soul and cry your tears.

Your attitude speaks louder than your words.

Regarding the handling of those who are sick with sin and are reaping the consequences. Love them, be patient and let the Holy Spirit do His perfect work of redemption, restoration and healing.

Be quick to apologise.

Be slow to get angry.

“Because anger works not the righteousness of God.”

David the Psalmist prays.

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength, my Redeemer.”

Amen and Amen.
