A PLACE AND A PERSON.
The Old Testament emphasised a Place, and the New Testament emphasised a Person.

SPECIAL PRESENCE OF GOD.
The Gentiles were the ‘Far off ‘ Ones!
Acts 2:29. In the N.T. This localisation of the Divine Presence transferred from a PLACE to a PERSON.
(Jesus)This is evident in Jesus’ dealings with the Samaritan Woman at the well of Sychar.
She questioned, “You say that men should worship in Jerusalem?”Jesus explained to her that true Worship will not be in a Place because…

“TRUE WORSHIP WILL BE IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH, WHOSE THE FATHER SEEKS TO WORSHIP HIM ”

Jesus took her eyes off a place to a person, HIMSELF! He told her,

“I AM HAVING THIS CONVERSATION WITH YOU, AM I NOT?”

(The person).

The Greek literally interprets it,

“I AM – WHO I AM” – IS SPEAKING TO YOU.”

THIS IS THE GREAT” I AM” GOD IN CHRIST JESUS!!

Also consider the Ethiopian. He had been to the right place—JERUSALEM—for the right reason to worship!

But something the Ethiopian learned that day was the Secret of Salvation and Satisfaction.
And He went on his way, “Rejoicing!” We who know Christ as Saviour have these Personal Promises to encourage us. Jesus said,
“BEHOLD ‘I AM’ WITH YOU ALWAYS ..
EVEN TO THE END OF THE AGE!”

Previously, we learned that “GOD WAS IN CHRIST RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF.”

Here today, Jesus, the GOD-MAN, is speaking..

HE IS, “EVER PRESENT … ALWAYS AND EVERYWHERE.”
HIS DIVINE POWER IS IN HEAVEN,
AND IN EARTH.

“HE ‘KNOWS ALL THINGS’, seeing the end from the beginning, will wrap up ‘ALL THINGS’ at the end of this age.

It is He who is ‘CONTINUALLY WITH YOU.’
He delights to be with the poorest of us, the humblest of us. He loves to be with those who feel unworthy of His Precious Presence.

He has said,
“I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU, NEVER, NO NEVER.”

He is with you“

“TILL THE END OF AGE.”
He is with you to… Protect, Preserve and Provide by His.
MIGHTY PERSONAL PRESENCE, NOW!,

HOW SAFE
