THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST.
The book of Colossians is a priceless little document.
The dominant theme is the fullness we enjoy in Christ and how complete we are in Him. See chapter 1:9. Christ is the fullness of God to us, so we can walk worthily in Him.
DOCTRINALLY: “THAT YOU MAY BE FILLED.“
Jesus is the fullness of God in creation, in redemption, in the church and verses heresy.
PRACTICALLY:
“THAT WE WILL WALK WORTHILY.”
We walk worthily as as individuals: As we respond to others in our relationships: In our employment obligations. Living the New Life before those who do not yet believe.
In the first chapter we soon learn that JESUS IS THE REAL CHRIST.
The visible form of the Invisible God.
The Prior-Heir of all Creation.
In Him the Universe was created.
He “IS“ before all Creation.
In Him the Universe is held together.
He is the Head of all Creation.
He is the firstborn from among the dead.
Jesus Christ has all sovereignty over the whole universe because all things were “made by Him,” that is, Thrones, Angelic Lords, Celestial Powers, and Rulers. Verse 16.
HE IS GOD.
“ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD DWELLS IN HIM BODILY”
(He was pleased to dwell.)
THIS WONDERFUL CHRIST IS THE “REAL CHRIST.”
“CHRIST “IN YOU,”THE HOPE OF GLORY”
Look at the amazing Salvation that is ours through this incomparable One. The “SON OF HIS LOVE”

You are a partaker of the inheritance of,
“LIGHT”

DELIVERANCE.
from the Power of “DARKNESS”

TRANSLATION.
You are translated (moved from one place to another) into the Kingdom of the “SON OF HIS LOVE.”

REDEMPTION.
You are set free from sin through “HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD.”

FORGIVENESS.
You are fully forgiven for every sin ever committed!!

RECONCILIATION.
You have been restored from a once broken relationship due to sin.
“NOW YOU ARE HIS, AND HE IS YOURS FOREVER.“

TRANSFIGURATION.
Now, in His sight you are “HOLY AND UNBLAMEABLE“. (Faultless!)
Oh WOW! 😲
This is your FULL, DIVINE, ETERNAL SALVATION. Never wander away from this wonderful Salvation to vain Philosophers who never come to the knowledge of this TRUTH.
