3. THE BOOK OF PHILIPPIANS.

STRENGTH, WEAKNESS.

Tired and Weary.

Causes of loss of strength.

1. ABUSE.

Physical and Mental abuse over a long period will take a toll on your God-given health and strength.   Continuous corrections and critical comments will make you feel that everything you do is wrong. It will drain you of resilience and strength, making it difficult to believe in yourself and carry on. Especially if the one who corrects you is your husband or wife.

Remember that  Satan is a liar and the accuser of the brethren.

To avoid confrontation, you try to be nice, but inside, they are draining you of mental and emotional energy, and if you can’t sleep due to rehearsing those death words in your mind, insomnia will become a habit, and this will undoubtedly drain you of physical strength.

Some other reasons for Insomnia.

Emotionally, you begin to doubt your self-worth, which robs you of confidence in decision-making. Sometimes, walking away is better than putting up with the continual barrage of negative, accusative talk.

2. A TERMINAL  DIAGNOSIS.

An emotional shock!

This will, of course, drain you of energy, causing weakness. Your mind is willing, but your flesh is weak. You are determined not to let your body rule your mind, but the body won’t allow you to function correctly.

Such diseases as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Chronic Fatigue, also called CFS, Lupus, Lyme disease, and Parkinson’s disease are all characterised by profound fatigue and sleep disorders.

Then, there are many side effects to drugs that are administered to ease your condition. These can cause you much unnecessary discomfort and fatigue.                 When taking natural remedies we also need to be led by a professional Wholistic Dr, as some natural medication can be as dangerous as chemical drugs.

Ask God to guide you to the proper treatment meant for you. Ask Him for wisdom to ensure you are moving toward good health again. Never give in, never give up.

He will be your Strength if you focus on Him and not on your weakness.

Pain can be turned into strength of mind and strength of mind will control your body.                             Be resilient, and don’t give up believing God’s Word.

Remember there is also the Spiritual aspect, the real cause of your illness just may be a Spirit of infirmity from the pit of Hell.

That is, a Messenger from Satan to destroy you, a demon of Infirmity that, if tolerated, will cause havoc in your life. You must,

“RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU. DRAW NEAR TO GOD AND HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU” and protect you.

Keep wearing the armour of God, a reminder of what Jesus did for you.

4. GRIEF.

Grief is very real and painful.

The loss of a loved one, be it a sudden death or a terminal slow death, will drain you of strength. The sudden shock of departure without warning will significantly affect your whole Spirit, Soul, and Body. (My darling husband died beside me in bed. Though I experienced God’s peace emotionally, my body’s reaction was the opposite. I couldn’t eat, sleep, or reason. It took time, but with God’s help, I re-adjusted to his death.) Knowing that he is with Jesus brought great comfort.

Nutrition is most important during Times of stress.

REST. EXERCISE, AND WHOLESOME FOOD.

Think of the word

R…Rest!

E…Exercise!

D… Diet!

Avoid Alcohol, Sugar, Nicotine and over-the-counter Drugs.

The trauma of watching your loved one slowly suffer and die can be just as traumatic and devastating for you

Sudden death is also total shock to you and cause similar symptoms.

Yet, you must remember…

“UNDERNEATH AND ROUND ABOUT YOU ARE THE EVERLASTING ARMS.”

The Holy Spirit is called “The Comforter” He is the arms of God’s love enfolded around you bringing soothing relief from all adversity.

5. TRAUMA.

Causes of Trauma.

Any trauma will rob you of strength. The Trauma of Divorce, Injury, Injustice, Bankruptcy, Robbery and Fraud are some other causes of failing strength.

People sometimes, instead of turning to the Lord in these difficult times, revert to Alcohol, Drugs, gambling, hoarding and compulsive behaviour to find comfort. However, these things are temporary band-aids and not a permanent solution.

Trauma can open the door for a demon to enter and cause far more damage than anticipated.

Stay in the Word, hold on to God’s promises, and believe… Just keep talking to God exactly about how you are feeling.

“HIS PLANS ARE GOOD AND NOT EVIL TO GIVE YOU A FUTURE AND A HOPE.”  🙏

Jeremiah 29:11.

6.  GUILT AND SHAME.

GUILT and SHAME.

One of the most potent and devastating forces in this world is shame.

Shame is not only the result of our wrong choices and failures. It can be imposed on us by others, such as Parents, Families, Spouses, even Churches, Pastors, Teachers and so-called friends.

Shame is a destructive emotion that keeps us from our God-given destiny.  Don’t despair, God wants to set you totally free from all guilt and shame. Did you know that Jesus Christ has already taken your shame upon Himself at the cross? So give it to Him!

Psychology, self-improvement, or group therapy may offer temporary relief, but only Divine revelation can bring lasting help. If you hear His voice and follow His plan for your life, you will receive the guidance you need.  It is a freedom that comes from the written Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit.                       Shame is an internal bleeding… an inner torment, and a soul sickness. You feel weak and empty, with no purpose in living.                          You interrogate yourself and always come up with,

GUILTY AS CHARGED!

Only Christ can set you free from sin and condemnation. Repentance of sin brings Salvation. In Him…  (Jesus Christ)

“THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION TO THOSE IN CHRIST  JESUS.”

Romans 8:1.

He brings peace beyond your understanding and pardon, a peace which leads to freedom and intimacy with God.

“CAST ALL YOUR CARES ON HIM, FOR HE CARES FOR YOU.”

SOME PRACTICAL THINGS YOU CAN DO.

  1. Pray always at all times.
  2. Live a life of obedience.

   3. Be filled with the Holy Spirit.

    4. Remove doubt,  fear and unbelief.

    5. Walk by faith not by sight.

    6. Ask for wisdom.

    7. Completely surrender everything over to God.

     8. Trust Him at all times.

“IF THE SON SHALL MAKE YOU FREE YOU SHALL BE FREE INDEED”

“THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH AND MY SALVATION. WHOM CAN I FEAR, OF WHOM SHALL I BE AFRAID!”🆓

Amen.

You pulled me up out of the miry clay (bog) and set my feet up on the Rock.  ( Yourself)                     Psalm 40:2. 61:1,2.
MY SOLID ROCK!
