THE GREAT COMMISSION.

Please read Mark chapter 16:15-20.

Jesus Christ, after his resurrection and just before His ascension, gave these instructions to his rather apprehensive and fearful disciples. If apprehended came the promises of miracles, signs and wonders.
This commission was not only for the disciples but certainly include us as Christian’s today.
One of our foremost mission as a follower of Christ is to share Jesus in “all that He is” and in “all that He can do” in and through us.
We share Him by how we live our lives and without using our vocal chords. “He is Lord.”

Our lives will portray His Gospel if we are truly sincere in our love for Him.
Our love for Him will motivate us to share Him with others.
Many believers in our church families do not live life as if they were followers of Jesus and this makes their evangelism superficial and can actually drive people away as they will see the hypocrisy and not want to embrace the Saviour.
A COMMAND!
Sharing the Gospel is a direct command leaving us the responsibility to obey the Lord and Saviour by sharing Him with the lost.
Paul, the amazing apostle was,
“not ashamed” of the Gospel of Christ as it is the “Power of God unto Salvation.”
NO GO-NO LO!! Obedience to fulfil his command comes with the promise of Power, Presence and His work in and through you.
A FAITH WALK.
As we determine to step out in faith each day to share the Gospel He will be with us until this world comes to an end.
SOUL WINNER OR AN EVANGELIST? Actually they are the one and the same concept, but expressed with different approaches.
“Soul Winner” as mentioned in Proverbs, “He that wins souls is wise.” Yet always keeping the thought in my mind that He, the Chief soul winner does the winning through me…
DEFINITION OF AN EVANGELIST. An Evangelist is a preacher who is excited to tell, everyone about Someone who can save Anyone.
They love to travel the world and preach the Gospel in holding enormous crusades in many countries.

Dr Billy Graham is a good example of a man who gave his total life in order to reach the Gospel. Millions of people came to Christ through his ministry. He believed in the fundamentals of Christianity,
Grace, Faith alone, Christ alone, the Word of God alone and for the glory of God alone.

The word Evangelist is (noun) a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Synonyms are,
GOSPELER. GODS-SPELLER, and REVIVALIST. Though we greatly admire Rev Billy we are also witnesses of Jesus Christ as we communicate the Gospel to those we already have relationship and inter-action.
A Biblical example of this would be the woman at the well who after an interaction with Jesus went into her community telling people what Jesus had done for her.
John 4:28-32.

CHURCH EVANGELISM.
You should be involved in a church who evangelizes through loving community of Christ followers.
The outsiders are often impressed by your witness and desire to join the Church family and eventually become Christians.
Read Acts 8:5-8. People will see God is real and at work through His genuine people.
Church should be a place of Joy and happiness, love and care, giving and forgiving. Not a place of condemnation or judgment on how you may dress, act or speak. A place where the full Gospel is preached and people given an opportunity to be saved. A home to nurture, disciple people and love the Word of God. My heart hurts for souls who are lost, the hurting, brocken, grieving, empty and hopeless in this sin sick world. 🌎 People who need the Lord, not a set of rules and regulations.
WHAT IS MINISTRY EVANGELISM?
This is where we reach people who do not know the Gospel and are outside your normal relationships.
This is how you can reach them.
1. Pray that God would meet their deepest needs.

2. Help to meet a known need they feel is theirs.
3. Encourage them with by sending texts.
4. Invite them to something that is relaxing and fun, also to a meaningful meeting that will alllow them room think. A meeting where they can share their opinions with ease.

5. Love them to Christ, put your self out to woo them into the arms of Jesus.
EVANGELISM IS A GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
It’s a gift you can ask for and He will surely grant it fully.
I have learned to totally depend on the Holy Spirit to … send the person to me. To work through me in how I share Jesus.
(It is never the same.) And work in them by convicting and convincing of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
It’s the Holy Spirit that gives me the passion to see people rescued, healed restored and saved from hell and transported into the Kingdom of His dear Son.
You can’t do this in the natural (in your own strength) He brings real life and opens the heart ❤️ to receive Jesus as Lord.

THE GREATEST JOY THAT SURPASSES ANY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE IS TO SEE A SOUL SAVED…HEAVEN REJOICES!!

If course you can count on Satan to stop you with all kinds of lies and excuses. In this ministry, fear is his greatest weapon. “The fear of man is a trap.”
Resist him in the name of Jesus. Never give up or give in to anxiety and fear. Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord as your labour is never vain or wasted in the Lord.

You will have to count the cost of evangelism.
You may face rejection, abandonment, from friends, and family
You may have to give your very life and those to whom you witness.
Pray for the boldness to, despite opposition, share the Gospel.
“THE RIGHTEOUS ARE A TREE OF LIFE AND HE THAT WINS SOULS IS WISE.”
Let’s face it dear reader,
THE RESPONSIBILITY FALLS UPON YOU.
So, let’s step out in faith and obedience to the great commission and do it!
The time is short, the laborers are few and I sincerely promise you…
“GREAT IS YOUR REWARD IN HEAVEN.”
Amen.

May his message impact your life and cause you to share the Good News of the Gospel.

I have been led by God to minister in the Dementia ward in our local community hospital. Through a dear friend, I have learned how music can reach the spirit and open the mind to hear and receive the Gospel.
She brought her harp, played and sang Christian music to the residents. As she ministered, the anointing filled the room, and a precious blind lady invited Jesus into her life.
It is never too late, nor are people too sick or too old for God to break through their minds by the power of the Holy Spirit and save souls.
Thank you. H.D.
