5. PRAYING PSALM 103.

PSALM  103.                                           We could easily title this Psalm as,

“AMAZING GRACE.”

It is a personal, testimonial of the psalm of Worship and Praise to God in thanksgiving for all His benefits toward us, so we praise,

HIS HOLY NAME.

The Psalmist first shares his reasons for praise in verses 1-5. (Please read this psalm and put your name in the appropriate places and pray them with thanksgiving to the Lord our God.)                                       He enthusiastically urges himself to thank God for the blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon him.                  He doesn’t take each one for granted as we tend to do! His whole being praises God with Respectful awe.

Remember the story of Christ healing the ten lepers, where only one man returned to give praise and thanks for his healing. The miracle occurred as they were going to the priest.

“They were cured and made clean as they were going.” That’s what genuine faith is! Believing in your answer, before you see it! And giving thanks.

“HE ‘HAS’ HEALED ALL MY SICKNESS AND DISEASE.”

The first and best blessing to recall is that God,

“FORGIVES EACH AND EVERY ONE OF OUR INIQUITIES, SINS AND TRANGRESSIONS.”  Calvary Covers it All!

“HE KISSES OUR HEARTS WITH AFFECTIONATE FORGIVENESS!”                  (Passion Translation.)

Isn’t that lovely?

Here is his testimony.

“You have healed every trace of sickness and disease.”

It seems that the writer had suffered from a serious life-threatening disease, but the Lord healed him fully… inside and out, of every disease. (Past tense)

This is also true for us, as Jesus Has Already Healed us by the wounds that wounded Him.

Isa 53:4-6.

1st Peter 2:24.

“BY HIS WOUNDS YOU (ARE) present tense and (WERE) HEALED” ( past tense)

Jesus’ sacrifice is a Finished Work! The writer was kept from hell and destruction and counts it a tremendous blessing.

But instead, the Lord Crowns him with Loving kindness and Tender mercies.

All these gifts are fit for a king and will enrich his life. Jesus is your perfect and complete sacrifice … (Once and for all.)

He not only satisfies the king. But satisfies you at your age with good things so that your youth is being renewed as that of an Eagle, (Restoration and Strength!)

(Thank Him for that!) As we wait on Him, our strength is renewed —physically, mentally, and spiritually. (Praise Him for that!)

We are empowered by the Holy Spirit and as an eagle that mounts toward the sun, we are lifted into realms of Glory into the arms of the ‘SON’ OF GOD.’ (Honour Him for that.)

We shall,

“RUN AND NOT BE WEARY, AND WALK AND NOT FAINT.”

  (Read and thank God for

Isaiah chapter 40:28-31)                     Praise the Lord!

It is not wrong to mark your Bible!

“TEACH ME LORD, HOW TO WAIT!”

Isn’t it wonderful to pray, along with the Psalms?

Now that you have begun to pray… Please Don’t Stop!

Amen.

    1. Thank you, Jennifer. I’ve just read your latest blog. It so important to live our lives guided by what God thinks about us and not we ourselves. Speaking life is the only way we can survive the continual onslaught of demonic thought and suggestions.
      Great Blog!
